Sav Rocca has really played a good game as well. Great when you have consistency in punting

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Great great win against an NFC east foe!! undefeated baby!!!
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Whoever posted mcnabb's stats for today and the smiley faces:
McNabb is done.. He is so beyond done it isn't even funny. I respect D-Mac as a person but I am glad he is out of here. I don't think he can play anymore. I wonder if he will be okay accepting a backup role to Christian Ponder, or would he retire? |

Nice start to the season!

Guess he should have worn that arm band after all. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Love it... One down, 5 to go!
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
How about that for irony...
FOX goes to the Seahawks/49ers game and you see Carlos Rogers get tortched for a TD.... Didn't wanna be here... good riddance. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Solid win!!!!!!!!!!! Sexy Rexy is the real deal!!!!!!!! Wish the running game was a bit better, but it was the Gmen after all. Arizona is in a tough one against Carolina. Here's to hopefully 2-0 entering Dallas week.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
I just became exceedingly more excited about this season. How 'bout that Rex!!!

I'm feeling really good about being a Redskins fan right now. :woot:

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Very happy with today's result. Still have a lot to do and there will be up's and downs but I was happy. We looked disciplined and poised. Something we have not looked like in awhile. The Skins' Defense was beast. Eli always has a sour look on his face but it looked extra sour as he was watching Kerrigan run it in and getting his butt knocked to the ground. Good first win, let's keep it going.
HAIL!!!!! |

Anyone know where I can watch Redskins postgame live>

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
So, we beat the Giants.
McNabb's ypa was under 3. Carlos Rogers got torched. Now, we just need something embarassing out of Haynesworth to complete this weekend. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Just glad we won....lot's of things to work on. We have the best wide outs in the league.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
I am proud to say that was a solid win and I am looking forward to the season, however can we wake the defense up before the first quarter starts? GoooooooSKinnnns!

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Wonder if its been brought up to flip Silverback to right tackle and Jamal back to left tackle? Oline had issues today

Yeah, Williams is going to get lit up in the film study session this week. |

comcast...might be able to stream it from Redskins.com or comcast's website. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Good Win.
Rex was solid, despite playing with a shaky O-Line and T. Williams getting HANDELED by Pierre Paul. D was great. Hope our run game gets going, but overall great win!! HTTR!! |

More than worth mentioning |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Neild with 2 sacks... Didn't see that coming!
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Proud of this teams effort today, win or lose they played excellent outside of a couple of plays by Reed freaking Doughty.
|
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
You don't even think of switching Trent with Jamaal yet. You let him watch the film and work on it.
Besides the O-line we had a great game today. Let's not forget this was a game against a division opponent on opening day. You can't really ask for more than a win. Our defense dominating and Rex having a fantastic game was just the cherry on top of the victory sundae. |

Played a better nose tackle then Coefield did, and I love Coefield, he might be undersized to play the position after all. |

You can't single it on him, but he def showed inadequacy |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
all in all a great win! that will shut up local giants fans.running game needs to improve.:woot:

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
That 4th down completion to Moss in the 2nd quarter was HUGE
You can't single it on him, but he def showed inadequacy
Agreed. I don't understand how people can be so absent minded to just focus on one bad play. I can point out a number of starters who screwed up on this team today, yet no one says much about them. Doughty is a f*cking back up, and he plays like one. The guy made some good plays and some bad plays. So did a lot of back ups and starters on the team. Sheesh. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Williams had the worst game at left tackle that I can remember seeing. He's been suspect for a while, but I think were really going to regret drafting him. I'm all for moving him to RT

give the guy a second to watch film and try and improve. First game of the season, let's not jump the gun. |
Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread
Fred Davis speaking...says he lost 12 lbs this year...and plans to stretch the field this year.
