Man, I have felt like crap since Friday. Tried to schedule a test first one I could find is next Sunday. Went to several stores and there were no home tests to be found. Is there another way to get tested?

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
My daughter tested positive on Saturday. Friday she started to have symptoms including a fever. Had a fever yesterday but by night and this morning seems to be done with fever. Sore throat, headache and body aches still persist. Kind of jives with what I have read about Omicron for vaccinated people. We will get the lab results back in a few days which should tell us the variant. My son is 10 and just got his second shot a few weeks ago and she is isolating but have a small house so I am some what doubtful we will be successful in preventing spread. I am not too concerned for myself as I rarely get sick and when I do it is more of an annoyance but my wife she gets hit hard when she gets sick and my son he gets hit hard but recovers quickly. It does stink because we are unsure how to handle Christmas since it falls in the 10 day isolation.
Crazy how it feels like this wave is hitting everybody harder than the first two. Hoping for the best for you and your fam Bmore. |
Search the walgreen or CVS app for available home test that’s how I got it
So I found locations in the walgreens app, when I called the stores that said in stock they were actually out, then I tried the CVS app, same situation. I cant find a store within 45 minutes of my house. Mucinex DM it is. Not sure about work though they just reimplemented masking and stricter covid procedures.

I’ve seen all this tax payer money wasted here in Richmond from left over covid money on city pet projects. They should have taken it and sent test to households or had them free to pick up from places. |

Yeah when my wife found out she called my daughters school and told them. They said my daughter didn’t have to quarantine because she was vaccinated . She got tested and was negative too. She never missed any time. |

I can read a lot of stuff and not personalize it. But I'll be damned if I'll sit here and listen to Dr. Pepper end-cap non-sense. Dr. Pepper is to soda what spike ferritin nanaoparticle is to COVID vaccines. Elite. It's probably by the Mt. Shasta on the end-cap. Re: Coronavirus (non political)
I know 3 people to test positive since Monday. 2 are sick with mild symptoms (1 vax and 1 unvax) and 1 asymptotic (vax and boosted)
Shit is crazy…I’ve had close contact with all of them. I’m negative from a rapid test this morning. |
Re: Coronavirus (non political)
Booster shot had me tired all day yesterday. I didn't do anything besides rotate between laying down on the couch and laying down in the bedroom. And rotate between being hot and cold every 10 minutes.
Already feel better this morning tho. Glad I got the shot on a Friday. |

This lady has lived one hell of a life. Worked on mRNA technology for 30+ years, and her work was instrumental in helping develop both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. 2 awards from 1975-2009, and approximately 40+ since 2020. No doubt after many years of hard work in an undeveloped science she has earned her recognition now. |

Covid hit out office .... again.
Walked in this morning and our two front office people are out. Sick for a few days, both are getting better. |
Re: Coronavirus (non political)
Funny this tread skipped 3 months without a post. People are over all the covid crap and just want to move on with life. I'm living proof if you drink enough Tequila you don't need a mask or booster shots. Speaking of shots.

Now my baby's mama has covid. She sick symptomatic.
Its on the rise again. ----- I dont really trust the home test kits but me and my daughter are negative. Covid needs to fucking go away. |
Re: Coronavirus (non political)
FML, pretty sure I have COVID again. All of the same symptoms as last time, but just not as lethargic (but still terrible). Gotta go get tested in the morning.
Took off work, and am watching Westworld. I don't get the hype for this show. I'm gonna finish all 3 seasons, so hopefully it gets better towards the end (I'm in the 1st half of season 2 now). Good timing on my part, as season 4 is about to start. I didn't know that until after I already started season 1. |
