Yes!!! They had to call a time out...we're getting in their heads... I think I feel the momentum flipping.
Portis hasnt done a thing in the 4 or 5 years he's been in Washington. And we gave up the Best cornerback in the league in Champ Bailey for a injury prone crybabay
Hey mods, can we get a macro or smiley that says "Champ didn't want to be here anyway"? |

I know, it's not like he rushed for 1,500 yards or anything like that and broke the franchise rushing record. |
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Nope, you just need a solid offensive line, a good QB, and a workhorse back.
Chew on that for a minute and ask yourself which of those things we're missing.
all of them. and money tied up in the back right? anyways its not like i dont like portis |
The sky is falling? Not from where I'm sitting. Honestly I've seen us give these guys a bunch of big plays on nothing more than poor execution on our part.
The Vrabel and Moss TD's should have been FG's. Ggrilliamssss has to take the blame on the Vrabel score, though.
If we lose to the Jets the sky is going to come down to earth pretty quick. I would like for Gibbs to stay indefinitely, but since he is slated to go after '08 and give the HC job to Williams, I rather him take off early so maybe Snyder gets a coach that is truly hungry. Saunders is just here for a big payday, Williams is a great D coordinator, but his stint with Buffalo as HC has to make you wonder. Execution is the big reason we have been stinking it up the past 8+ quarters of game time, but unimaginative coaching also has played a role also. |
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Linemen hurt. Rogers and Smoot out. Rocky hurt. Bad fumbles by JC. Tough to compete against the best like that
|
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
I know this game is going to hurt, but this might be exactly what we needed.
this one is for pride
Its gonna be hard to muster up pride after this one. |
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Their goes our pride I guess
|
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Wow and I thought we dominated Dallas in 2005.
|
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
The way I see it is there have been zero half time adjustments on defense or offense and it is 24-0...
When do they make adjustments freakin 50-0 at half? That is what pisses me off the most. It is obvious our team is overmatched per talent...it is up to coaching to make the difference |
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
This is an absolute Fucking Joke........

I think you're missing the point of the exercise, but considering the bloodshed we're being forced to witness, I can understand. |
Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
You gotta be kidding me. Our defense is starting to look worse than the offense.
BTW, I don't know if anybody noticed, but Betts has peeled off good runs today while Portis continues to look absolutely dreadful.
I really haven't seen much of a difference. Portis has 8-26 and Betts 2-10 |
