So Smoot is Foles the leader as far as 2nd tier QBs? I wouldn't be too upset at a Claiborne/Blackmon 1st rd with Foles in the second but I just can't see if RGIII is there at 6 which I think he will be why we would pass on him.

I wouldn't say that. Not sure there's a clear cut leader quite yet

I see them drafting Blackmon or Richardson giving McCoy another year and possibly signing a FA QB to backup Colt.

Fair enough, I saw before that you think Mike likes RGIII more than Kyle, what do you think Kyle does not like about him and do you think Mike would still draft him if Kyle says he doesn't want him?

Rumor is that they will look at bringing Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley (from Bengals) into their roster. McCoy and Shipley played football for Texas Longhorns and formed an amazing pair back then. They believe that if they provide McCoy with Shipley and a few additional weapons, he can make a strong case for a franchise qb.

As you know Quake, I'm in complete agreement with you here. I think RG3 is a top 5 talent, but it's possible he could be a top 6 pick.

rumor has it that your rumor is full of it and my sources also tell me your bleacher report sources are not reliable sources

Yeah I've heard those rumors too, from outside the organization. But from what I've gathered there isn't much substance behind them other than Kyle is a Longhorn guy so it's automatically assumed he likes all Texas players

I just don't see RGIII falling to #6. I know conventional wisdom says each team needs something different so yeah RGIII should fall to us, like Luck is supposed to go to the Colts, Rams LT retired so they should be replacing him, Vikings could use a WR, Bucks need a CB, and the Browns need a RB, so yes RGIII should fall to the Skins. But now lets look at reality...

Colts could take RGIII with all the hyper he's been getting, Rams could take LT then but RGIII has drawn so much interest if he's there I could see them taking him so they won't have to worry about if Bradford is or is not a franchise QB. The Bikes I could see doing the same if RGIII was there but most likely not I imagine they take a WR for their QB, Bucks need to replace their retired CB spot, and the Browns have already come out and said they like RGIII so I believe if he falls to this spot I could see them taking him. All for the same reasons everyone else here has..... he would solidify the QB position and many teams have questions at this position.
