One thing I will go back to, that WR screen on 3rd and goal when we had run that play all game, gotta at least try to throw into the end zone

Did anybody hear Joe Bucks comments? Cousins just can't shake the turnovers. He has no idea what he is talking about. Can't wait to hear Rodney Harrison's comments tonight.

In Italy so didn't see the game. Hopkins missed a fg. How long? Would that have made the difference and prevented OT? Very sad to see the game end this way. Kirk a hero last week, and pick 6 in OT the next. Ugh. Even if it was Grant's fault. Ugh. Chances to beat Miami and now Atlanta. Good teams win those kinds of games and we just aren't there yet.
Grant fell down trying to readjust to the throw being nowhere near where he thought it was going to be. The ball was not thrown to where the receiver was. Either Grant ran the wrong route or Cousins read it wrong; either way it's too early to know; we're going to have to hear how it is explained in the post game.
All I'm seeing is a comeback breaking slightly towards the sideline, and a ball thrown a little high, but at Grant's outside shoulder. (if standing)

The game was lost in two areas.

1. Playing that horseshit prevent defense on Atlanta's go ahead drive. I put that on Barry. You can't play that bullshit defense in the NFL against a high powered offense.

2. The coaches for calling that wr screen that got blown up. Throw the fucking ball to Crodwer in the end zone. Just playing not to fucking lose there.

I don't know. It's really hard to get an idea of how high exactly the throw was. If it was at the right height, it was still behind Grant. A good throw would have put that ball into his gut, and there's no way that's where that ball was going. If Grant didn't slip, I can still see that ball being intercepted, perhaps off of Grant's fingertips. If Grant was supposed to break to the sideline, the throw would have been perfect. Again, it may have been Grant's route running or it may have been a poorly thrown ball. The replay isn't clear enough.

Regardless, I don't really give a shit. This game, while painful to lose, was a major step forward for this football team. Couldn't get the ground game going, QB was off on his throws, a number of bounces went against us, it was on the road against an undefeated team, and we took the game into OT. A few more games like this and I might not be so ashamed about being a Redskins fan.

Tough loss. Proud of how they battled on the road against an undefeated team though.

Agree...grant is too slow. And I saw the replay...that int is on grant IMO.
