8-9 months late. I never wore a mask outside, it’s insane. There was info last summer about it not being necessary. And making high school kids compete in sports outside with a mask on, quite literally the dumbest, anti-science thing of all time. Literally anti science. I saw a tard, beta boy wearing a mask, riding a bike in the city last year without a helmet. I wanted to run this fuck over.

Remove your mask and be a free human...not some controled freak

This seems to be a bigger problem in society today, but it seems like people only want to talk in absolutes. Fauci takes a lot of criticism for how he has handled the pandemic but rarely in science is anything absolute, so I don't blame him for modifying his stance as we learn more about COVID.

Like everything else these days even science isn't immune from being politicized. There used to be a day when science was trusted, but now with anti-vaccers, covid-deniers and everything in between nothing is immune from public criticism anymore.

Fauci has been a trusted advisor for the gov't for around 40 years so he must be doing something right. It's only since Trump targeted him to blame has his credibility been questioned. I blame Trump for that.

Great points, also the science research progress takes years and the people wants to get updates on daily basis. Fauci is in impossible position.

A nearly 80% drop in the daily rate over a two-month period looks pretty frickin’ dramatic to me, but YMMV, I guess. The peak came on January 12; by March 12, the daily case rate had dropped to 53,000-plus, a decline of 78.3%. That correlates entirely with the vaccine rollout, obviously.

------

This article really lays it out. As soon as Presdent Biden and VP Harris got sworn in, things finally started to get better.

Thank you President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for providing strong leadership and clear direction from the top. The vaccine roll out has been nothing but awesome.

With Biden/Harris .. we are finally winning again!

Im not really sure what we are judging him on? He is telling us what science and doctors tell him and giving his educated opinions on what he thinks. This isn’t exactly something that happens every day. Or should i say every lifetime. Some people just melt and complain and play the blame game during a catastrophe. Those are the people you DO NOT want to hear from. Like Chicos boy Tucker or Trump. Just blame everyone that you can and pretend it either doesn’t exist or will magically disappear.

That is what is so upsetting to me Trump beating her shows any of the Republican candidates would have beaten her, accomplished more (ie ACA would have been repealed, immigration etc.) and likely would have been reelected 2020. Covid didn't get Trump.

Trump's covid strategy was "ignore it, and I'll win reelection off our strong economy."

Of course he forgot covid would curb-stomp the economy and he'd lose that too. Not quite the brilliant strategist you think he is.

CDC guidelines still too strict...don’t follow the science

If you have been fully vaccinated, you have a 0.0005 percent chance of being hospitalized from covid-19 and a 0.0001 percent chance of dying from it. I'm not a statistician, but those odds seem pretty good.

Article same day the Clown Biden tells Craig Melvin in an interview when asked why are you wearing a mask outside and between two vaccinated people....he says some mumbling excuse and declares “it’s patriotic for god’s sake”

Dishonest and clearly political theatre...and not following the science.

Here is Biden July 2020 committing to remove vaccine patents:

The answer is yes – yes, yes, yes," those were the words President Biden used when activist Ady Barkan asked him in a video appeal if the United States would share COVID-19 vaccine technology with the world and ensure that no patents would stand in the way of countries and companies mass producing lifesaving vaccines.

195,000 additional deaths since Jan 20,2021. 1/2 as many as all of 2020. Not really a political post, other than the dates.

Nearly 600,000 total deaths. The Spanish Flu had roughly 675,000 in the US. For all our medical improvements, and we certainly have had them, death is death, and when it comes human science only goes so far.
