correct.. it was after our win streak in the 2005 season and some poster made the thread "paloffs is now!" (not sure how many !s there were anymore)

just became an ongoing joke

Been hearing he is on the lake.

Not workin out.

If he shows up to training camp ( granted he is on the team ) I say work his ass off. No breaks for the fat man.

Of course he will say he has a hammy or a lower back injury, and ride the pine watching all the guys who have trashed him in the media busting thier asses to be a winning football team this year.

The guys on one of the morning show on Sirius today ( Jim Miller and I can't remember the other guys name ) were talking about AH for an hour and a half. Basically the whole day was spent on AH and the Redskins in general on Sirius today.

Alot of guys don't believe AH has much value on the trade market.

He is creating a certain amount of backlash around the NFL and I doubt you will see a contract this front loaded in the future.

I still believe that Vinny is the complete moron who put this much money front loaded into the contract and we are now the ones stuck with a player who doesn't want to play and has all the legal right to take the cash. Although it seems so ridiculous to all of us (especially those who are struggling right now) the bastard has the right to do what he wants.

So do we fire his ass and just right it off as the end of the VC/DS era completely or do they keep him and let him be this big of a distraction?

I say get what you can and get out. This is just the last of alot of bad decisions made by the morons of the old guard up there.

Well that was a twitter report RT'd by some people. One guy said that he saw him on the lake in Knoxville and I think he heard that he's out there a lot. I'm not sure anyone has said that he's not actually working out though. Not saying that he is.. just that people are adding to the story it seems.

Ha, I'll be honest. That's the one thing over there that I kind of get a kick out of for some reason.

your right Truth.

That was the report. But would it really surprise any of us?

He showed up last year out of shape after he stated he wanted to come in here and cement himself as one of the best Dlinemen of all time. What a bunch of BS this guy is. A complete liar.
The name Fatal Bert makes me just as annoyed as it does you. Just how that s.o.b. makes me feel. Real irritable. So when he is finally done and gone, so will his name.
Why continue to annoy the rest of us then?

Watching Redskins Nation on Comcast, and they were just discussing the possible D-line starters. They didn't even mention Haynesworth's name in that discussion. Interesting, since Larry Michael and Matt Terl work for the organization.

Love chocolate milk, hate Haynesworth

Jim Miller on Sirius said the Redskins should, and could, suspend the player for one game right now, thus giving them a case for conduct detrimental to the player, and a way to recoup some part of the bonus. Does that sound plausible?

On the other side of the equation:
Special Master ruled in favor of players, NFL upset | National Football Post
NFL Special Master Stephen Burbank, the University of Pennsylvania law professor, ruled that the Miami Dolphins can't regain signing bonuses of $8,000 and $7,000 given to former undrafted free agent tight end Jared Bronson and offensive tackle SirVincent Rogers.

The two players quit shortly after being signed as undrafted rookie free agents.

...

Here's what NFL executive vice president Jeff Pash said about the victory for the players.

“The CBA was never intended to allow players who violate their contracts, commit crimes, or quit on their teams to keep bonus money paid to them in good faith by the clubs, whether it’s $7,000 or much more,” Pash said. “This is money that should be available to rookies and veterans who actually perform, but the union has continually sought rulings that allow players who breach their contracts to take the money and run.

"The illogical and unintended consequences of these rulings are one of the many reasons why the current CBA needs to be changed. We are committed to addressing this issue in our negotiations with the NFLPA and reaching a CBA that prevents these kinds of results in the future.”
I was out of town last week so I really didn't have the chance to fully chime in on this. Like most everyone I'm so done with this guy. He's a bum and a thief. I was in wait and see mode with him this offseason but it's crystal clear now what this guy is all about, and it sure as hell isn't about the team.

I honestly don't care if we have to ship him out for a low pick or even if we cut him outright. Just get this piece of crap off the team ASAP.
