Yeah, I was pretty butthurt about it too when it happened, but if you're forced to use IE at work just use inprivate browsing to get past it. God help me if every other blog I read turns to a pay-to-read scheme too.

I don't understand the upcoming Carriker surgery?! Was this expected from his setback a few months ago? Why wait till now?
Without the homer scouting report, what is the general consensus on Jenkins' ability to be the starting LDE? Idk how to judge last season, only to assume with a yer since his injury/experience he should be able to make an impact this season right?

Also, what do you all think about Merling?

Could be a number of things with Carriker. He could have had a setback. Or conservative treatment just wasn't working well enough.

If I had to take a wild guess with Carriker, I'd say it was a setback. We'll see how that works out. Jenkins didn't play as well as I thought he would last year, but I think he was still recovering from his rookie season injury. Hopefully he's fully healthy this year and ready to make a strong impact.

As far as Merling goes, he's been a bust to this point, given where he was drafted and the expectations. I think he's a camp body right now, but if he works hard and impresses he could end up with a roster spot. I wouldn't really count on him to fill a major role right now though.

I just have a feeling that Carriker will not be on the Redskins this season.
