yea i got it. It was a joke on your joke. |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
The review of Sellers Fumble sho'd of never been allowed as the ref blow the whistle prior to possesion... I think when the ref blows whistle there can not be a review.
I rewinded it several times and saw the same thing!!!! DVR!!! Not only do The Skins have to play well to win they have to overcome bad calls and booth reviews that should never happen. This one hurts.... |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
Thomas and Campbell had agreat games tonight.
Not really, Im just stating what I see. 3-9. Fluke plays and bad reviews? Come on, really? Skins made some real f*ing stupid, god-aweful plays today, numerous...The Saints are a great team, I give them credit. I thought JC played one of best games ever, despite the typical bone head throw at the end of regulation. Sushiam sucks and everyone knows that, god he lead the league in missed field goals last year, why wasnt that position address in the offseason? Hell no we didnt quit thank god, that locker room must be hurtin now.....but we need to play better, I put the responsibility on the players and organization, not fluke plays and bad calls
The K.Moore int strip fumble for the Saints to score off of that was a fluke ass play.He was down by contact or the ball hit the ground. |

And if Landry "only" gets burned once, the missed FG doesn't matter. |
This was the case of the FG kicker chocking. Dont blame all the other players who battle while the kicker sits and watches the game.
Nope, sorry. Only quitters give up when they're up by 7 with the opposition needing to go 85 yards in 1:50.

I am a better free safety than Landry. So are my 90 year old grandmother and my seven pound wire haired dachsund.
He is a joke. He gave them 14 I will repeat 14 easy easy points because he is a straight up idiot. I despise his game. It's so undisciplined and he doesn't care about anyone but himself. He sucks. |

Im with you..my friends are on facebook talking shit people are callin me talkin shit... I hope we blow the Raiders out next week..God I need to see a Win in Cali live! |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
I think the thing that really sucks about this loss is we so had this game in our hands. I highly doubt most of us thought we could win this thing last week but once we thought it could and to have it not happen really sucks.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
The officials and Suisham both suck a** but most of the guys on this team are still fighting. The majority of people didn't even think this game would be close, in fact, most thought you had to be smoking crack to think we could win. DT had a coming out party today and we're playing better than we have all year. Too bad Suisham and the officials decided not to show up for a great game today.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
This has to be the worst feeling for me after a loss. I didn't really think we had that great of a chance before the game started but watching the game they gave me hope and I started believing!! only to have it ripped away from us :( Thanks to a bullshit kick and a bullshit call

That was one of the strangest plays of all time, crazy. I thought reviewed this one? I thought the interception was first a great catch and didnt think he got touched, what I thought was bad was Moore being stripped. You just cant fumble the ball like that, didnt get hit hard and looked to me the ball was taken rather easy... |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
Hm--maybe I take it back. Zorn himself said in the postgame that NFL rules state that an immediate pickup on an inadvertent whistle can result in possession switching to the recovering team. I wish the NFL had the full text of their replay rules online. If the rule does indeed exist, I disagree with it.
I just hope we don't tank it on purpose out here for draft position. We already know what positions we need, and moving up from where we'd shake out without tanking won't make much of a difference. Play with pride from here on out and I no longer care about the loss column. The cleansing fire that will be our offseason is warming me already. |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
What good is replay??? It caused us to lose this game..........
I have never seen anything like it.........Never!! |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
Suish did his job all day up until the end. People are allowed a mistake. This game was not on him. Yes he makes the kick the Saints need 2 scores. Landry doesn't jump a couple of routes and get beat we are better off. But I still can't blame them. They played a good hard game.
Why is it all season long when we try to review "down by contact" plays we are told no we can't review those plays. But today they stop the play and allow the booth to review the play that's non-reviewable? The only thing reviewable at this point is spot of the ball. |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
He bears a lot of blame, but it's so much easier to blame a kicker or the offense or the play calling or the refs than to admit the crush so many fans have on the defense is mis-placed. The defense is decent, but it is no way "good." Watch good defenses, they stop teams at critical times AND get and hold onto interceptions and fumbles.
I don't necessarily trust Suisham, but I trust the defense less. |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
I'm pretty sure down by contact is reviewable isn't it?
|
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
I'm pretty sure down by contact is reviewable isn't it?
Then we have been hosed may times in the past when Zorn has asked for a review and they say down by contact so it's not reviewable. The only thing they can review is the spot of the ball. To see if it was a first down or not. |

I can't say I fully understood what happened on that play quite honestly. Seemed like they were saying he was fumbled before he was down by contact. Why not just say before he was down? |
Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
yes think they changed that rule 2 yrs ago . although it seemed like his forarm was down as was that interception before half. his legs was on shockey when he was down. look at that run near the goal line from the saints where he thought he rolled into the endzone untouched, but on his way down he touched a redskins player so he was down at the half yard line

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
We find ways to lose games. I'm so sick of Laron Landry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Showboating loser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everytime he tackles someone he gets up shaking his head and talking shit. Dude FYI YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff either needs to get him in his natural position or get his ass off the field.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints Official Game Day Thread
He did but the last TD should have not really matter if we made the FG would have put us up by 10 points.
That FG def should've been made no doubt. However you don't let up 2 long FG passes and NO might have to kick field goals or just take longer to get their TD, which would have eaten up some clock, not giving them enough time to come back. |

Either give them a challenge or don't review it anymore once the TO is called. |
