My QB predictions from this class down the road are..

1. locker
2. Dalton
3. Gabbert
4. Mallett
5. Kaepernick
6. Ponder

SS what's the latest on VY?

I would much rather get Stanzi w/ a hypothetical 3rd/4th rounder then Dalton or Ponder at the bottom of the first.
My bold prediction with this qb class and their rankings in the NFL.
1. Dalton
2. Ponder
3. Locker
4. Gabbert
5. Newton

Their draft order might be the complete 180 degree opposite. That's how bold this prediction is.
Bold or not I'm with you. Everyone is down playing Dalton like he's never going to be a starter. They say he can't run, yet all video shows him running well on designed QB sneaks. They say he has no pocket awareness, yet he knew when to escape the pass rush and make something out of nothing. They say he can't throw on the run, yet he did throw a lot from roll outs. Plus he's smart.

I was there, and I don't mean to use Peyton Manning as an example, but I’m going to use him as an example, I was there on his pro day and I guarantee you, Peyton Manning didn't throw the ball any better than this kid. Maybe this kid threw the ball better.”

On the field leader, a good field general... Teammates feed off his energy... A winner; only lost three games as a starter at TCU, set the TCU record for career wins by a quarterback with 44... Same with Mark Ingram (RB). I think the latest report was his injury is not healing well and actually might be a liability for the future. Now they are saying he might be projected not to get drafted until late rounds.

The Sammy Baugh factor alone should have all Skins fans welcoming Dalton with open arms! lol

I still say Pat Devlin is gonna be the biggest QB surprise to come out of this Draft.

Bradford showed more arm strength then I thought he had and of course will always be very accurate.

I kinda hope he has a rough year simply because I hate McDaniels, but without question McDaniels knows how to coach the passing game.

I think Bradford might start off slow this year, but will finish strong and continue to improve.

It's funny you mention Mark Ingram, but this was a following tweet from a insider. Not sure if Smoot has commented about him (ingram) yet.

I think Ingram will be a late first rounder and still be the top running back in this draft. Leshoure, Ryan Williams and possibly Kendall Hunter could all be 2nd rounders

UPDATE: Add Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com to the list of people who don't see the Washington Redskins trading up in the NFL draft. However, he does report that the Redskins are actively trying to trade down.

"According to a league source," Prisco writes, "the Redskins are looking to trade down in the first round with the idea they will draft either Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder or TCU quarterback Andy Dalton. The Redskins, who pick 10th overall, would like to get a second-round pick from a team in exchange for moving back to their spot in the first round. They could then use their two second-round picks to bolster the defense."

The New England Patriots, with their half-dozen picks in the first three rounds, might make the ideal trading partner for Washington. "The Patriots might have their eye on an edge rusher -- like Ryan Kerrigan of Purdue -- or a receiver like Julio Jones of Alabama," Prisco writes.

Nah, I'd rather either continue to work with Beck or use that third spot for a veteran Free Agent to compete with Grossman. Would love though to use a late round pick on a QB next year though as by that time you'll have a promising rookie and a veteran making it the ideal situation to use a late round, "why the f**k not" pick on a QB.
