Whats scary is RG3 couldn't read base defenses. He was allowing himself to get smashed in a preseason game because of his lack of knowledge. I was worried for his health in a 16 game season

I agree JC sucked but he's checking down like KC and you are loving it. KC is a .500 QB at best he's a backup IMO. See that's your problem I tell you its my opinion and you want me to think like you. The only QB we have on our roster that ever put fear in an opposing teams Defense was RGIII KC does not do that. We have been a bad team for the last 20 years and now we get happy when we are close to being .500.

No one has ever walked of the field and said I don't want to face KC twice a year. KC has gotten better but he's NOT the answer IMO.

And nobody is ever going to walk off the field and say that about Griff ever again. Go buy RG-3's greatest hits dvd, pour yourself a glass of egg nog, and get the hell over it.
Cousins is coming into his own. Does he strike fear in opponents like Griff did for a handful of weeks three years ago? No. He is still learning and progressing. Griff at one point in time was in an offense that fit his skill set and excelled between injuries. The league caught on and adapted. Griff did not.

I dont care if u think like me or not. This is a team sport. Its not about one guy. If u think KC is a backup than u r not really paying attention to this team or the league in general.

You don't a need a QB that strikes fear in a defense. There's only a couple of truly elite guys in the league these days that do that.

KC is solid enough and has shown enough growth that we can feel good about moving forward and building around him. The guy is on pace for 4000+ yards and 20+ TDs, he's cut down on the turnovers, and he could possibly win a division title. WTF is there to complain about??

He is not on sports center top ten plays nearly as much as RG-3 was during that run in 2012, AND, he doesn't have an awesome nickname like RG-3, AND, I spent alot of money on that RG-3 jersey, AND last but certainly not least, he isnt RG-3!

You don't have to stop. He didn't recognize defensive alignments, he had no pocket presence, he held the ball way too long. He couldn't go through his progressions. He never felt the pressure. His ball security rivaled Matt Jones. He threw off his back foot. He turned 3 step drops into 5 and 7 step drops. He had no concept of a timing play whatsoever. He wasn't as fast after the 2nd acl tear. He tried using the media to his advantage. He never learned or progressed, in fact it appears he regressed by 2014. He said things like "I want to be a pocket passer" despite the fact that the gimmick read option was the best thing he had going for him. Yet somehow after all that he's still our best option because Kirk Cousins threw a pick.

Maybe its because it is the holidays, or maybe it because I am pre-gaming but as someone who is a big time KC fan I just wanted to say something about RG-3. It took me three years to figure out that KC was our better option. I do not hate Griff at all. None of my pro KC jabber has anything to do with Griff really. As a matter of fact I hate the comparison talk. Do I think Griff will ever start in this league again, let alone thrive? No. Do I hope he does? Yeah. 2012 was an absolute incredible time to be a Skins fan. Was 20 years old last time I felt that way. Can never take that division crown away. I still really cannot fathom his fall from glory. Talk about a shooting star. Have always maintained though that im a Skins fan first. Not a fan of any one player more than the team. I am even happier now than 2012 because i feel better about our future somehow.

Kirk was ballin' out there today. IMO, it was a big sign of his growth that we saw "gunslinger Kirk" without the turnovers that would come with it in the past.

Its refreshing to me to see that so far I have been right about Kirk, and the announcers basically said the same thing i did - that as soon as Kirk was reassured that he wasn't going to be benched after a couple of bad games or a bad throw, that you could really see him grow and excel. ALL QB's have good and bad games, good and bad stretches for the most part. Manning is an all time great but he has sucked this year and if it were anyone but him, they would have benched him.

I think Kirk is the guy, he is our franchise QB, that we have sorely lacked since basically Snyder took over. We now need to help him out by building around him...

Best part about this season...it came out of nowhere. back in August no one had us in this position at this point in the season.

I remember PTF had an article laughing about the Skins team, the fans and the organization as a whole I think it was in September. U LIKE THAT!

Before the season every and I mean every prediction had the skins last in the east and most had us with a top 3 pick. I said 7-9 would be a good yr but obviously we r better than that and it's because of kirk, he's really starting to turn heads

Being right? I like that! I was on a KC could be the next Drew Brees kick months ago and notice the stats below. After 3 FULL SEASONS as a starter, many thought Brees was a bust, including his own team who went out and drafted Philip Rivers to replace him. Yes, Brees is having a down year by his standards, but KC is ascending and can (should) still get better. He still only has 23 starts under his belt and hasn't had a single off-season and training camp as the undisputed starter.

Drew Brees 3,794 yards 25TDs 11INTs 67%
Cousins 3,625 yards 22TDs 11INTs 69% (also has 5 rushing TDs)

Both have a 97 passer rating.
