I'm really hoping for Groves at 48.
did the guy from arkansas state get picked? he was rated above philips by some.
i heard teh guy from notre dame is one of those guys that plays football well but has bad intangibles, but is 'a football player' and late round pick. a guy that makes your stars look better but istn one himself
Not yet. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I'm going to be disappointed - maybe appalled - if we don't bolster the o-line w/ at least one of our next two picks.
I hope not. Groves is just a situational pass rusher, something we already have in Chris Wilson. Unless we're planning on having him take over for Marcus Washington, but I doubt it.
I've heard a lot of good things about Groves from people who actually break down tape, as opposed to those internet guys who just echo what the last guy said. |

I think CB at 48 is more likely as for OL, Goat, we can quality linemen in the late 3rd/early 4th in my opinion. |

If we took Groves I think we would project to OLB |

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I'm thinking Eagles go with WR at 43. Maybe Sweed or Jackson?

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Chilo Rachal gone. It's a huge drop off in o-line talent from this point forward according to the boards. Damn!!!

I've heard he's got some off-field issues. You know anything about that? |

Collins form Kansas, Nicks, Nebraska, Scheuning OR. St., Pollack, they would all be good for us. |

I'd think that if he's there, we have to take him. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Saints took Tracy Porter. That's another CB off the board
