Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
according to redskins.com the only ones to make the pro bowl from th '87 season are
http://www.redskins.com/team/history-pro.jsp Gary Clark, WR Darrell Green, CB Charles Mann, DE |
Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
i dont think its a fake ,then it almost has to be dexters.that would be more than sad to HAVE to sell that ring.

Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
He also says he was a Pro Bowler during his career, not necessarily with the Redskins. So it could be someone like R.C.Theilemann who was a Pro Bowl Guard with Atlanta, before joining the Redskins

Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
When did Jim Lachey & Wilbur Marshall come on board?

Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
Quote from Dexter Manly
The Redskins mean “a great deal to me and my family to this day” and says the franchise helps define the NFL… Lists Joe Theismann and Art Monk as most admired teammates. Marshall came on board after the 87 super bwol and before the 91 super bowl |
Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
i just made a bid of 90,000 for the ring
|
Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
I'd have to go with Dexter also,I think he'd be the only one on that list hard up enough to sell it,also, how do you make a superbowl ring in 10kt? you would think it would be 14kt
Jay Schroeder made the probowl?
For something that holds that many gems. They may need to use 10K. |
Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
Alvin Walton went to Kansas--though I don't think he was a ProBowler...

Re: Anyone have $87,000.00????
I don't think it was a heavy lineman. The ring is a size 11. My wedding band is a size 11 and my fingers are not very big around. I'm guessing someone closer to my size. A DB, QB, WR? Maybe Darrell Green is raising money for his foundation. I just think it would be someone in the 200 lb range, not 280-300 range.
