One geezer off the table.

Bruce was an interesting name but it's good to see us steering clear of the 30+ crowd of players.
AND better yet, he won't bitch about it.
An exceptionally under valued trait this time of year.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

Exactly. If I were to have a wish list of the WR we could possibly sign, Koren Robinson and Joe Jurevicious would be on the top. Givens a close second.

Lloyd would complement moss nicely

I'd like us to look at Antonio Bryant as well. I don't think he's quite the malcontent he's been made out to be.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

I agree. He'd be Miss Congeniality of my list.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

He sounds too much of what we already have at WR (size). We need a taller receiver to complment Moss and Patten.

He may not be but I think his character may still a concern to someone like Gibbs.

Sounds like we may be going after another smallish/speedy type though, obviously Gibbs doesn't buy into this BIG WR thing.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

Just for the people who are wanting a big WR, please remember that we have a play that is seemingly unstoppable to Cooley and Sellers. Basically when we're within 10 yards of the goalline, it's over for the other team.

You really only need that big WR for the jump balls, and if you can run right by them, you don't need a lot of height.

My exgirlfriend told me that size didn't matter.... :(

Just as a counter point - While its true Cooley and Sellers are excellent red-zone targets, a big receiver would add one more dimension down there (jump balls particularly to the deep corners) stretching the defenses even further.

Personally, I just want a GOOD receiver - big or small. Specifically: Good Speed, good hands, good concentration who runs good routes.

For a truly good receiver (and like I tell my wife all the time) SIZE DOESN'T MATTER!

Per ESPN, Bruce is off the market...will rejoin RAMS.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

You are correct. I just feel as though we shouldn't limit ourselves to thinking we ONLY need a BIG guy. I tell my fiancee that all the time that size doesn't matter. It only mattered in that damn ring!
