Honestly, I wasn't relaxed with Brunell until after the Seahawks game. Even those two throws to Moss make me nearly crap my pants.

Guys, it's obvious who didn't belong on the field at all last season...

Derrick Frost! If he's on the field that means we didn't score on that drive. Stay off the field Frost!

Wasn't he the holder, though? :D

Ade is a special teams stud. He's in on every tackle. I take back everything bad I've ever said about Ade.

Same here. When he was playing in coverage earlier in the year I was a little pissed but he really did get better as the year went on.

Re: In retrospect...

Definitely Warrick "The Trash Can Man" Holdman. Its not just that he was bad (which he was) its that he was on the field instead of Arrington. Now I dont want to turn this into another "We shoulda kept LaVar" thread, because I think it was OK to let him go.

But I'll take LaVar's "boom or bust" potential on every play over Holdman's "bust" any day of the week (especially Sundays).

Re: In retrospect...

TRUE. Totally forgot about him (that's how GREAT he played for us).
At least Stoutmire was a wanted man in the offseason (NO). Will Prioleau make the team this year?
Yup. Bet money on it. As others have commented, he is solid in defense and on special teams. Maybe he isn't a super star but he is a reliable part time starter (for us) and better than average back up. I felt he was one of our better "under the radar" free agents. He was a starter for some good buffalo defenses and was one of those "1 1/2" Players - (Players who will start for some teams, but are best utilized as a "first of the bench" reserve).

If we cut him, somebody picks him up quickly.

BTW - This year's Prileou will be the CB we got from Jacksonville.

Re: In retrospect...

And, as for who didn't belong -

Taylor "Big Softie" Jacobs, with an honorable mention to Cory Raymer.

Prioleau was a pretty solid player for us, not sure where he warrants any great dislike from us.

And yes, he's a pretty safe bet to make the team this year.

Re: In retrospect...

This is easy.....by far Taylor Jacobs. Dude was supposed to be a 1st round pick and hasn't done shit but get hurt and play soft.
