The whole team played poorly today but I was especially disappointed in Brunell's performance, the defense (especially pass defense and AA's play- what the hell are we paying him for anyway?????????), and the ST play in the 4th quarter. I also don't understand what the hell happened to our offense in the 2nd & 3rd quarters. It's like someone turned the lights off upstairs and we forgot we could score.

In the first few weeks our D could not stop the pass. This week they could not stop the pass OR the run. Brunell may not be the most consistent QB in the league, but he is better than most QB's playing and his QB rating reflects that. Unfortunatley, the Skins D makes every QB look good, because they can't cover anyone. If you want to know what is going to happen next week at INDY. Just go back and watch the Colts / Texans game and watch Peyton basically play flag football with Harrison and Wayne. Betting tip for next week, take the Over. It won't be pretty.

In the first few weeks of the [I]regular season[/I]? Because when the starters played against New England's starters in the third preseason game, the same thing happened.

Everybody said not to worry, it was vanilla defense, it was preseason, and Williams wasn't showing anything. Some of us, the skeptics (sometimes labelled fairweather) who passed up the Kool-Aid thought otherwise.

Looking good in preseason certainly doesn't mean squat (witness Spurrier's win/loss record in August) But looking bad in preseason just might have validity now and then.

Unless you think we're still headed for the Super Bowl. Because you know what happened the last time Gibbs went winless in exhibition ...

Look at the production after the first quarter... I swear brunell hit more guys in blue jerseys in the hands with the ball more often than skins players...

Those are the fucking facts sir. There should've been 6 picks in that game. Our D does suck, and our running game was abismal... even though I don't think it wouldve been if we had called more running plays, and maybe kept it inventive like in the first quarter...

I don't know, but I hate some brunell support. Its not all his fault, but he has NOTHING more to offer us and his time here should be done. He looks lost and his heart is not with playing here...

I would like to see Campbell come in and do well... but I have a strong suspicion that he's probably not going to be any better.

The redskins deserve to finish 2-14 if this is the crap we are going to do on the field. They seem to be resting on the push at the end of last year. Lets face it, we are not a good team. a good team would have won every home game we have played. to lose to a 0-5 team is unexcusable. A rookie QB at that. At some point we have to play Redskin football. this crap is no where near it. Do they feel they have to trust Al because of all the money? The offensive linemen do not play finess ball very well. they tried that crap a few years ago with spurrier. it just doesn't work. I think we may see a change in QB really soon. That is the only position change that could add a spark to the team. Our defense has got to get back to applying pressure all game. we sat back and let Yound throw the ball around, conver 3rd and longs all day. it is like the coaching staff forgot what made us successful last year. somebody needs to figure it out. after next week, we will be sitting at 2-5. impossible to come out of that hole!

Honestly, I'm going to give the offensive line a lot of credit. Brunell didn't get sacked yesterday and they did open up decent holes for Portis when they decided to actually use him.

Me too! I agree!! It's our Ds fault in my opinion. How can you let a lead like that go? And then our O comes back, ties it up and you let them go down the field and get a field goal??????? :( AHHHHHHHHHHH!
