Did anyone see the interview with Shawn Springs last night on Comcast? He mentioned he had heard speculation swirled around him as being the source of Tom Friend's ESPN article, and this was his reply, and I
"I practice two days a week, and play on Sunday, plus they pay me well, why would I do or say anything to upset that"[UNQUOTE]

Speaking of trading Springs, I don't think it's likely we could expect to get much for a 31 yr. old CB with a history of various injuries. However I do recall Springs mentioning on one ocasion that he would welcome the change to safety in an effort to prolong his career. With our current secondary situation, moving Springs to the safety position along side Taylor could be a formidable duo, if we could find an adaquate replacement for him at the corner.

Anyone see Gibbs response to the article? He basically ignored it saying (essentially): if the anonymous source wants to identify themself, well then i deal with it. If they aint man enough to attach their name, then I aint going looking for them 'cause I'm not chasing ghosts.

The team is not going to trade its best corner on the off-chance it can get clements or pick someone up in the draft.

Haven't we been through all this. Start an intelligent thread ridexile and maybe someone will show you considertion.

I am willing to back you up on the one plus one theory, regardless of what TAFKAS says.

If I started a new thread that said one plus one is two, u all would say how i have nothing to base this on and how dumb it is. Just pretend like my name wasnt ridexile when responding to my threads from now on.
yea we are sorry we dont like you something about your personality i guess. What it really is is the fact that your a complete moron.

Friend said today that it was an active player, not a starter. I would put money on little disgruntled Archeletta

Why is everyone putting so much credibility in to what some player, who runs a negative lip service yet, lacks the balls to identify himself says?
Perhaps he'll post the media (on more personal thoughts) next week. It seems as if the nameless player managed to fire up the coaching staff and his fellow teammates enough for them to focus on winning a game!

I agree.......And if such negative media enables the team to perform the way they did this past Sunday, then as far as I'm concerned Friend can write another article this week. I do however think we're making much to do about nothing, "winning" cures all.

it costs the same amount to keep him as it would to release him. replacing him would cost a ton (he can still play) so he'll be back.
