Once you fire it up it's just like the old console version.

Except you can play the computer or go online with an opponent.

Ok, but how do you 'fire it up' ? I have a Logitech game controller, but I can't get the game to start. All I can get is the opening scene to run over and over again.

At the top of the nesticle screen, go to settings, and then redefine input. Select device 1.

You should see a list of devices you can set to be the input for nesticle. Click on gamepad. Then press the buttons on your gamepad, if the screen blinks with it, then you're all set. If pressing the buttons does nothing, click on Joystick 1 or whatever and try again.

what if I want to use my keyboard (you know, until I get a controller)? I tried that whole setting thing but to no avail

Isn't there a way to attach your 360 controller to your computer? Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, do these emulators work on a mac?

You can use the keyboard but I wouldn't recommend it.

You should be able to connect the 360 controller to your computer. You just need an available USB port and the correct driver. I successfully connected my regular Xbox controller to my computer before. I just had to buy a USB adapter for the controller and search for the right driver. Since the 360 controller is already USB, then you should be halfway there.

I have 8 people as of right now, if we can get 10-12 that would be great but 8 is certainly enough to set up a tournament.

Madden yes you can win $$, Tecmo probably not.

I'd be down for throwing some $$ in on a Tecmo tourney.
