Well, if it only involved the bottom five teams, then it would certainly shake up draft day with potential trades. Also, if there are 2-3 teams tied with 3-10 records, then I would think at least one of them is going to mail it in for the rest of the season, just to get the No. 1 pick.
It'll never happen, but its something interesting to discuss when there is so little going on. |

the reason this wont happen is that there isn't one player single player that teams will intentionally try to lose to get...There are no Micheal Jordans in Football...its much more of a team game. When you have 11 starters on both sides of the ball and not just 5 the impact of one player diminishes quite bit. I mean Calvin Johnson was on the top of everyone draft board but didn't go number one and was thought to drop to four. So theres no need for a lottery and it will never happen
