**ATTENTION ANYONE GOING TO THE GAME**
I went to a Sunday night game two years ago vs. the eagles and made a sweet sign. Anyone going should really consider: Eagles Suck Penis Nightly You are guaranted to get on tv. I would have but a police officer took my sign away. Also you may want to consider using Portis for the "P" for a less offensive sign!
Also, bringing that to Philly is also a one-way ticket to having gallons of beer dumped on said sign. |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
Not going to start the thread yet, but what is everyone else feeling about next week after Philly's performance in GB?
It might just be me, but GB has a pretty damn good young defense, which might have helped with how bad Philly played. McNabb didn't look great that's true, but this might be another Dolphins situation next week. Good news for us (not for them) is Sheppard won't be playing, so that helps our passing game next week. |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
Last year Philly's run defense sucked, they finished at the bottom of the nfl. Betts put up 173 on them.
I didn't see the stats, did GB put up any #s in the run game? Someone said they passed more. If their run D is still weak (I know they signed Spikes & replaced Trotter), they're in for a long night. Once again, the identity of the team is w/the running game on both sides of the ball. My gut tells me that Philly gets a big play early for 7-0 lead, but we regroup & shut them down, 31-10. It will be the beginning of sports radio conversation about the skins this year & the latest drama in philly about McNabb. |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
I like our chances against the Phillies. The defense needs to keep playing at a high level and Campbell needs to cut down on the bad throws. Not to be totally down on Campbell because he made a few wonderful plays, but he needs to eliminate some of the mistakes. I guess they call that experience.

Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
i look at green bay alittle differently. the eagles try to hand them about 28 points, and they kept screwing it up. i think we run all day long on the eagles. and win the game. their receivers are down right pitiful

Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
I think the skins can win if the D plays big and keeps McNabb on the run. However the O has to start doing something to generate points. It will be another close game and until the skins O does something they will all be close games.

If our DBs can cover well and the line can keep Westbrook relatively contained I think we'll win. I think our offense is good enough, or at least the Eagle's D is bad enough that we'll be able to move the ball and put up some points. It will just come down to stopping their offense. |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
Honestly, I think it all comes down to stopping Westbrook.
He IS their only playmaker. We stop him, I think we win the game. |

I love our chances against the Phillies.. The Eagles pose a bit more of a challenge though.. |

I don't know. Ryan Howard is a beast. We'll have to put Rocky on him |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
a buddy of mine from philly said that he heard mcnab say that they would easily lay an ass whipping on the skins monday night because they were the
eagles playing against the"same sorry redskins".he said that when they lost yesterday, mcnab and westbrook promised the whole team a win next monday night.anybody else hear that????that sounds like something those walking dildos would say.i hope th skins d breaks his damn leg in the 1st quarter!!!!!!!! |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
I think this game is gonna be tough. MNF- Philly home opener. First division game for both teams. We're a TD dog, so I think we've got to control the clock and contain Westbrook. The Packers' D kept pressure on McNabb, while not letting him go crazy with improv passing.

They swept us last year but this year is different, the attitude of this team is revenge is sweet. I hope they talk all they want and the Skins just go in and take care of business Tony Soprano style. |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
This will be a huge game for us.
With the injuries sustained by the Giants and Cowboys, and the inept Defenses the two teams have the Eagles should be our biggest threat in the NFC East this season. To beat them at home on MNF, and put them at 0-2, would be a huge step towards taking the division. |
Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
I know it's a bit early but I think this is our first MUST win of the season. The Eagles could be a threat down the stretch and I think that we need to put as much distance between them as we can.
