I am trying a site now...hopefully this will work.
It's kinda funny...you can actually see my progression in artwork. The first drawing is when I was 12 I think...the last one was about 5 years ago. (Beast from Beauty and the beast)

I'm trying this one now...apparently the one I am trying doesn't allow it to "share" without an e-mail address.

OK, that's enough for now. I have a bunch of Corvette too, but those are the better ones on this disk. I have several others on my wall here at the house, but not on disk.

Re: Get fired up!

Funny story about this one. I was in High School, and there was a vent in the ceiling of the Art room which led to a secret room on top of the school that was down a private hallway only accessible by key. It was a room that was literally all plywood. Well, we would sneak up and paint images, or whatever all over the plywood, and this is what I was painting when the principal opened the door and caught me.
http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd42/jsarno7/003_sarno.jpg

He wanted me to give up all the names of the others, and I said I was the only one. He laughed and said I know several others cause they put their names on the paintings, and if I don't give them up, then I will be suspended. So I told him I was on the honor roll, I could use a couple days off. I was suspended for 3 days. LOL.
Never ratt on your friends.

Too much pressure. EVERYONE wanted a peice of me. I would literally be working 18 hours a day on artwork...and I was better than my professors / teachers and they would try to make me conform to their way of thinking / painting etc.
I drew that one for my father in law and made a copy for myself to keep (gave him the original), and I explained to the person by the copy machine that I don't do it for others, just for myself (minus gifts). Told her the entire story of how bad everyone insisted I draw for them for free and family members that insisted I do something for them, and as soon as I was done telling the story (no joke) she asked me to draw something for her.

I had my paintings displayed in Boston in 93. My mother has them all over her house now. I won a national award for one. I cut out siluoettes of buildings and pasted them on to a canvas, jesso'd the entire thing, took oil painted and rustic colors and lightly painted them, then took turpentine and let the paint run and made it look all old. It got RAVE reviews.

My favorite painting was one of the earth but it was a puzzle and pieces were falling off exposing the background of technology (like in the Lawnmower man).

So which drawing was your favorite SS?
