I'm looking for a Guard, Safety, DE, or an exceptional Linebacker prospect as our first pick. Drafting a WR in the first round is high risk in my opinion, now if your boy drops to us in the second round then make him a Redskin, but chances are thats not going to happen.

actually as I recall the danny wanted Moss, who went one pick later to the NYJ.

I remember everyone saying we needed a wr that year, don't know if Marty agreed or not. WR is a tough position to draft, but if you look to build long term, it can be worth it to nab one early as he'll start to produce in the 3rd year if he's good.

I hear people talk about Sweed's speed, but we need possession receiver. We already have speed with Santana Moss. We need a tall receiver that can outjump DBs and fight for the ball. Although I must agree with the discussions about not taking a WR in the first round. Oh well.

This kid has looked solid all year. He is big, he can catch, and he can [B]block[/B]. I spotted him at the Insight Bowl and thought that he would be worth a late round selection this year. The Freshman that he plays with, "Dez White" is going to be special though; probably a 1st rounder, but we'll see.

Man we need to see what A. Mix can do. I am from Texas and watched a lot of his games and he never just wowed me. Use our picks for D line and O line depth.

Alot of college players will not wow you in college, but will blow up in the Pros because they worked hard. I feel Bowman can be that type of player based on what I heard Sterling Sharpe say about him.

I do not believe in drafting needs. I believe in drafting talent. But that is discussion from another thread.

Limas Sweed will fall to the second round and we will be able to pick him up there. He isnt a burner but he is fast enough and standing at 6'5" he is like a Plaxico Burress

Bowman is another reciever who will be a steal for some lucky team.

see, if a DT is slow, his stock plummets right before the draft... for a 6'5" WR it's a bit different though. CJ ran a 4.5+, steve smith ran a 4.4+ (at 5'8"). seattle drafted jeremy stevens (6'7"-6'8" TE) just because he was big (but that didn't work out too well).

I don't really think sweed is a 1st rounder to begin with, but if he's still rated there after the combine (due to his size), he'll still go early. even if he falls, it won't be to the 53rd pick or whatever we have down there.

I think that you are right again by saying that Sweed will not be available for us at 21 ,especially with the emergence of big receivers like Andre Johnson, Roy Williams, Chris Chambers etc., etc...but...if he falls to 21 or we find another way to get him we must take him (that is if we do not address the situation during the free agent period) and should address the DE position later on in the draft. The Packers and their receivers are killing teams with their "YAC" that the big/strong/mobile receivers gives a team.

Our defense held up well (#8 in the NFL) and it really seemed that the line became stronger at the end of the season, so if it is possible to get Campbell the help that he needs in the intermediate passing game, I think that we should go for it.
