Re: Brandon Jacobs comment on Landry

Really a non issue. Jacobs won on that play and he won the game. Good job. I hope they get steamrolled by St Louis (won't happen, I know. Playing the Rams this season is close to a bye week). Last year starting off 0-2 lead to great things for them. Maybe 2-0 will lead to bad.

More relevant, why hasn't Jacobs sucker punching Washington gotten more media attention and shouldn't he at least get a fine? TO can't celebrate a TD but a NYG can punch a player after a play on national TV and it's ignored?

Did anyone see the AMP'd segment on NFL Network. When NY Giants Tuck wason the side line talking to his teammates laughing at us only having 16 yards in the beginning of the second quarter. Then he said that was 16 yards too many. How embarrasing. Wow. I hope we beat the crap out of them next time. Hopefully we will improve against the Saints. The offense can only get better from last game. I guess that is the bright side.

I saw it and was hoping that some or all of the Redskins players saw that too. I want blue blood from those bastards.

Like what....WIN the Superbowl or something..? Hate the giants, but that train is a hell of a weapon, with a FAT RING!

I dunno i didnt hear it on TV, i just read the OP and it sounds like maybe jacobs was saying that he has landry tattooed on his chest bc. LL left a nasty bruise on him from that hit, even though he trucked him.

Good post. Why anyone cares about this comment is beyond me. I don't like the Giants, but Jacobs flat out steamrolled Laron on national TV. Not that I enjoyed seeing it, but fact of the matter is Landry got posterized. Jacobs deserves to talk a little trash. It's not like he cussed him out, insulted his mama, or dissed the Skins.

Your second point about him not getting fined for punching Marcus has been bugging me all week. How he didn't get flagged AND fined for that is waaay beyond me. It was right in front of two officials too.

That is awesome. I love watching people get ran over, it sucks it was LL though. Doesn't look like LL had a full head of steam going into the hit either. Might not have mattered though. Jacobs is a beast.

I disagree, Hagams. Just saw the play again on Redskins Report, and LL came in pretty quick. He just got bucked. It happens. This is the type of stuff Sellers does to people regularly. We love to see it when he does it. I don't like to watch our players get trucked, but no excuses.

How can you get mad at what Brandon Jacobs said? He destroyed LL and that's the end of it. Hell, if I hit someone that hard I would have had a little more to say.
Also, if it was Clinton Portis that trucked someone on the Giants like that and followed it up with a similar comment you would be praising him for it.
Laron should have Clinton show him how to decleat a player, he is the master decleater!!!
That Kiwi decleating was good, but it would have been awesome if Kiwi wasn't already being blocked by Samuels and he actually saw it coming in a one on one situation.

Very good hit though.
