Exactly. It cheapens the actual issue of media bias to throw it at every single political discussion.

The dude's a serious crook. How do people like this get elected? The thought 'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing' comes to mind. Guys as crooked as this can't hide it always so some people had to be looking the other way at times.
In Illinois, being a Democrat usually does the trick. They invented straight-ticket voting.

Unless Mike Ditka runs.

Here's a great insiders take from an Illinois prosecuter.

Well........in their defense, they needed something to do while the Bears were rebuilding, and God knows for the most part the Cubs bring no amusement.

4th since 1967. They are 4 for 7. That is staggering.

So what bothers you then is that he could afford to pay bail after being taken into custody to be charge with crimes he allegedly committed?

Whatever power he has to fill Obama's seat now is pretty much rendered moot now anyway. He's as lame duck as they come, even if by some miracle he is cleared of any wrongdoing. The stigma is there.

what bothers me is the double standard. for some reason our judicial system is, and always will be, about the money
