Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion
By the way, the latest report from inside Redskins Park says the Redskins have decided not to pursue any of these OTs at the #13 spot, even if one is available, and instead look later in the draft for some line help.
Could just be posturing though.
At #13 I don't see how that's really that bad of a decision. Do you want the 4th best prospect at a position (OT) or the best or 2nd best at another position of need (OLB or DE). Of course if Snyder pulls a moron move to trade up for Sanchez it's all moot but I'm not heartbroken to hear that news. |

Good thread, but moot point for us. None of the top 4 will be there at our pick. Our best bet, trade down and target Beatty (LT potential) or Britton (starting RT).

All we need is a trade partner. I understand Cuba is interested! |

So it's down to Rey at 13, Sanchez at 3 or 4, or trading back in which case I have no idea who the hell Vinny would take. |
Re: Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinion
I really hope that we get maualuga but like a few picks later, maybe swaping with denvers 18 or Detroit or new England because we could get any guy I like, like Matthews ENglish maualuga britton mack unger, and maybe with a second rounder we would get Cushing since his stock is falling

Hey bro this was my hope initially as well...we could get an extra pick too just like you said, but Rey is gone by 16 i guarantee. San Diego would love love love to take this kid and have one more bone crusher who scares the shit out of opposing QBs, RBs and TEs. I think all the mocks w/ Rey falling into the 20s just prove some analysts don't know jack shit. Great MLB prospects don't come along often, and when the best one is also the hardest hitter in the entire draft I mean seriously are we gonna believe 16+ franchises are really gonna say "nope, better value somewhere else." I am thinking w/ the top OTs likely to be gone by 13 now Rey will be the BPA for us...but I also think there will be significant trade interest w/ us because of him so it's gonna present a dilemma. I think if the team like NE is looking to trade into our spot it's undoubtedly for Rey (not a RB like a thought earlier) and we should then take him for ourselves. |

Yea makes you wonder when in the 2005 draft we picked 9th Carlos Rogers over 12th Shawn Merriman to SD. Maybe cause we still had Lavar Arrington here. We know what happen next. Thats the draft i guess. |

I dunno about that because the chargers need to replace olshansky so I've seen lots of mocks have them getting Tyson Jackson assuming the broncos don't get him. also RB is actually another major need because LT is shown his age, Plus sproles is Franchised and may not be franchised next year, and sixteen would be the spot if they wanted to take Wells or Moreno...back to LB the chargers just brought in Burnett from Dallas plus the are happy with cooper starting and dobbins is decent for them as well and whilem is a good backup...patriots by the way are in demand for darius butler, he was the only prosect that belichiek went out to see his proday, plus the patriots value character, and Mayo didn't have character problems where as rey does so I'm not a hundred percent sure that either team will maualuga for those reasons but we won't find out until April 25 |
