Re: How does Jason Peters affect the 13th pick...
Haha "you never go full retard."
I know you're right but Rinehart was slated as a 5th or 6th round project until Vinny went full retard and decided to use our 3rd round pick. We could have got a center to groom or a legit DE project...something worth writing home about eh.
|
Re: How does Jason Peters affect the 13th pick...
I've been thinking about this...
If we don't get a top 4 OT...we should trade down.... Well...I think someone else mentioned this...if you miss out on all top talent..there will be no market for the 13th pick, therefore, you cannot trade down. We will basically be stuck in the 13th slot unless there is someone left that a playoff team is drooling over...Are there any scenarios where that is even possible? |

If Sanchez is left and we actually are not interested in him, the Jets at 17 might be. If the Lions go OT at #1, they may be willing to move #20 to move up and get Sanchez. There must be more scenarios. For example, it is possible that no CB's come off of the board before 13. Someone lower, like the Fins or Pats, may want to move up to grab their favorite CB. |

hmm...I see mauanluga as #13 trade down bait...but that is it, anything else realistic? |

I would take rather than trade down, no question about it. I doubt the FO will be that farsighted though...London has at least a year of good play left. |
Re: How does Jason Peters affect the 13th pick...
As much as I would like to trade down, I kinda want a good player at #13 (well not Sanchez).
