the guy they drafted in the 7th round, marko ? or hagans.....or at this point anyone that can practice 2 days in a row. kelly can't play because his body can't hold up and it's time to cut our losses.
No way the cut him. Hell they hung on to Taylor Jacobs for 3 years before trading him.
Wow..that is as short-sighted a post as I've ever seen around here.
Yeah seriously.

Kelly is practicing every day, but they are resting him usually in the PM practice just to be safe.

I don't see anything wrong with taking that approach.

I would like to see Cooley punt but not when it counts, of course. Maybe they'll give him a rep in a preseason game.
I was high on Eric Wood. Everyone was saying that he and the other guy I wanted were second rounders; I knew better. It wasn't surprising to see Wood and Levitre get handled in the HOF game the other night. It was their first NFL game. It will be interesting to see how our guys do but they all have more playing time than guys that just got drafted.

I'm not worried as much as I have been. I don't think Randy Thomas is going to be the starter this year. Something in my gut says Rinehart is going to be there with Randy as a back-up. Montgomery and Williams are good depth players that might move up this year or next, depending on injuries. This is just from what coaches are saying. We'll see. We are short on good tackles though.
While not germane to the Redskins, Wood did not get handled in the HOF game. Levitre struggled, most obviously on the Trent Edwards interception, but Wood was very strong on every play I watched. The 46" LCD makes it so much easier to watch line play. I love it.

I want to see him run a fake punt like the Titans did.

You think he's fast enough to do that? Trapasso seemed awfully fast.

He didn't look that good to me. I didn't watch that much of the game though. The first half looked bad for The Bills from what I saw.

Don't you remember this play against the panthers. It looked like someone lit a fire under his ass.

Is it just me or does Cooley look really funny when he runs? LOL.

^ If I invested 30 million in guarenteed money for a guy to play one season, you bet your ass I would sit him out until the regular season as well. No freak injuries.

Yep, him and Portis are sitting, non-injury related. That is fine with me (course national media will tear into it i am sure!)

I am suprised that there aren't about 15 PFT links to rumors that Haynesworth, Portis, and Moss ar all experiencing severe injuries and are sitting out as a result, especially after Haynesworth took that injection in the knee last week.
