I love that they have to continue to pay Zorn. Snyder is such an ass clown when it comes to any football related decision. He is the biggest embarassment in the league. I love it!! Great job midget!!! ha ah ah |
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
IMO, I hope Bugel takes over playcalling. He knows more about how to hide the deficiencies of the OL.
He began as the Redskins offensive coordinator in 1981 and was promoted to assistant head coach in 1983. Under Bugel’s direction the Redskins scored a then-NFL record 541 points (1983), had four 1,000-yard rushers, one 4,000-yard passer and nine 1,000-yard receivers. Washington won two Super Bowls while Bugel was with the team, following the 1982 and 1987 seasons. Overall, he has participated in three Super Bowls, six conference championships and 24 playoff contests.
All true, but none with a West Coast offense, which is what we're stuck with for the season. So while he's been doing it here since Zorn arrived, I am not convinced he's the best choice for us. I am not sure we have a good choice at this point. |

It is an insult to call Zorn's offense a West Coast offense. How about Mickey Mouse offense? Or maybe Least Coast Offense? |

this needed to happen and its a start in the right direction..im not saying everything will magically be taken care of from here on out..but it may make a slight difference in spreading the blame

I could only hope Snyder starts calling plays. HAH, how ridiculous would that be?

I agree. If they fire the unqualified buffoon who has a head coaches' title that is a good start. Vinny may not deserve it but he needs to go to. Then Snyder needs to remove himself from any football related decision. The only thing smaller than his football knowledge is his height. You suck balls, Dan Snyder. |

Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
"We keep fighting, because we are Redskins". I still like him as coach, but I don't see any future with him. He's a humble guy, and I really think he's sincere when taking the blame. I hope that a new play caller will help, but I don't see us putting up 20+ points a game just off that move. We've got the same damn people in the offense that we had to start last season as far as key players go, we are better than this. HTTR, HTTR, and F@ck Dallas.

Hard to disagree with the characterization, but my point simply is that we cannot at this point try to convert from an alleged WCO offense to something else -- an offense and playbook takes a lot of time to install -- and Buges isn't a WCO guy. Hard to imagine him calling plays in this system, although given the poor decision-making that has plagued this organization for a decade, nothing would surprise me. With what I saw today, it is entirely possible that we do not win a game for the rest of this season. This strikes me as the worst Redskins team in my lifetime -- more than 40 years now. It's painful to watch. Today's debacle was on par with the famous body bag game v. Philly. |
