Re: Champ Bailey Returns To DC: HOF Bronco or Skin?

Stupid still reigns here :iamwithst |
Re: Champ Bailey Returns To DC: HOF Bronco or Skin?
As much as I'd have wished Champ stayed here, does anyone really think we'd have won a Lombardi trophy just because of him?

Re: Champ Bailey Returns To DC: HOF Bronco or Skin?
Champ is an obvious HOF when he retires.
Portis? He only has 2 ProBowl seasons. And his stats as a Redskin don't stand up to his first 2 years as a Bronco. Except fumbles. So probably not. |

And ladies and gentleman, here lies the core problem of the Washington Redskins led by Dan Snyder - trying to win Super Bowls instead of football games. |

Lol.. I had to read the previous quote out loud to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me.. In the 'revenge' games Portis, 0-1 with 1 DNP, Bailey 0-1 with 1 DNP. Pretty anti-climactic return for both players involved. |
i wasn't talking about potis i was talking about champ, i can see how you could read it that way though.
you think portis is a hof canidate?
No way in the world Portis deserves the hof. |

Every team tries to win the Super Bowl every year. It's the effing reason they play the damn game. |
Haven't we established that unlike the Baseball HOF, in the Football HOF players don't get inducted as part of team? Why do people keep bringing this up?
This is the truth. I hate these threads. Even if it were like baseball, Bailey played the majority of his career and has put up better stats with Denver, it wouldn't be a question. |

While this is true many players still sign one-day contracts to retire as a member of a certain team. So for the HOF you are correct, but you do retire as part of a team symbolically at least. |
