its true that portis isn't 30 yet, but if you look at his injuries, the amount of carries he's had, and the fact that he doesn't take care of himself anymore, he's about 65 in people years.

Him getting back in shape is the only chance he has this year, or he could be out of the league in 2011 if he has another crappy year.
on NFLN they just said that the breaking news is that Jones' option won't be exercised

there's slight talk between agent and team about a restructure but it's very unlikely that it will happen

If Portis is medically cleared...he'll be in shape and our starter for 2010. No one ever questioned his heart under Gibbs...why should we under Shanny?

His heart was questioned by some people during the Zorn fiasco.

There certainly were questions about his work ethic.

Last season...but not the prior season when he started off leading the NFL in rushing and powering us to victories in Dallas and Philly.

In fact, he started off the 2008 training camp by challenging a then 22 year old Laron Landry (4.38 in the 40yd dash at the 2007 combine) to a race...and tying him (although they both say they won).

I say we keep CP, but when we play him we put in the line from 2009. That'll get rid of him.

Well he played behind the same line in '08 and had a good year. The guy gets a concussion and all of a sudden he's never been here huh? You guys are like listening to Lavar and Dukes.
