LaRon doesn't avoid contact, he avoids tackling. It is as if tackling is beneath him.

This one's a little out of the box, but Rex Grossman. I don't expect him to beat Campbell for a starting job, but as he gets older and matures I think he's naturally going to gravitate towards making smarter decisions. I bet he pushes Campbell in the preseason.
I have been wondering how Haslett is going to utilize Jarmon in this new defensive scheme. Jarmon is the classic tweener in the 3-4, too small to play end, too big to play OLB.
Same here. I think he's a hell of a DE but is he too small for the 3-4? Wherever they put him, he needs to be on the field, he's a baller. I believe Kirkland of Pittsburgh played around 270 at LB, hopefully Jarmon can too if that's where they want him.

I'm not sure about the JC numbers I'm seeing. I think he will throw more TD's this season with improvement from the OL, however with more passing attempts will come more chances for picks. I'm thinking 27 TD / 16-19 INT's. Not solely all on JC, but the WR's are still improving, and he'll be facing another playbook to learn.

Do you see Shanny and Co letting JC walk after this year and starting Grossman?

My guess is Shanny will bench Jason at some point this season. When Jason gets out of rhythm he's almost totally ineffective. Shanny has nothing invested in him and won't hesitate for a second to give the "next best" guy a shot. Right now no way to tell if that's Rex or Colt.

Laron only avoids tackling because if he performs too well they'll ask him to more autograph signing events.

You're forgiven for the Duke comment.
