Another source has us trading again with the e-girls.
Our old 2nd, their current 2nd, their 1st at #24, man, I'm salivating. Scuttlebutt???? - hailRedskins.com Fan Board
This would be a good trade as well...we could get Charles Brown or Bruce Campbell at the end of the round. |
Re: Draft News for the Warpath
I would love to see something like that happen but we will have to wait and see. Draft day is full of surprises!

Re: Draft News for the Warpath
Any scenario where we get more picks makes me a HAPPY PANDA. I think we end up with a butt load of picks by the end of the draft!

Re: Draft News for the Warpath
I would hate to trade out of the top 10, mainly because I hope we don't see a spot that high for the ne xt decade, and I want to get a perennial pro-bowler as a return for suffering through VC/JZ for two years!
Thanks for the info. Interesting that Michael Bush would have a sense of what these teams want to do.

I don't know if it is just because Oakland wants him but Bruce Campbell reeks of bust. It should throw up big red flags when a guy's stock rockets because of his combine workout...I know they were projecting him in the first/early second before his workout but I think he will not be a solid player in the NFL; Let him go to the Raiders and keep them in the red for a few more years. |
Re: Draft News for the Warpath
The Lions will NEVER...EVER..NEVER draft Okung. He is gonna be there and THAT is who the Skins should get. Isn't it time to stop wasting draft picks and taking chances. Draft Okung and replace Chris Samuels with his clone for the next 10 years and be done wif it.

I agree on drafting Okung, but I am very concerned that Detroit takes him. Suh does have an injury history, and Defensive Tackles have a high bust rate. They really need a stud LT to protect their expensive QB, and Bachus is not the answer. They won't get a starter in round 2. In my opinion, it's 60-40 the Lions take Okung. |
Re: Draft News for the Warpath
say we land anthony davis instead? does anybody really know how much better an okung or williams would be than davis? or say a brown from USC? I don't know.

Davis has legit multiple red flags. Show me a team that even considers drafting players with red flags except a very rare exception and I will show you the worst ten franchises in the NFL over the last twenty years. Brown's talent projection is supect. That's a different guessing game. |

I still expect them to take DT McCoy over Suh, for several reasons, and I would (gasp) agree with internetcareer that there is no chance that Detroit takes Okung over either DT. They got the guard from Seattle to strengthen the interior of the line -which was more troublesome for them last year- and Bachus hasn't missed many, if any, games in his career. |
Re: Draft News for the Warpath
Bradford goes to the Rams, Okung to the Lions and the Skins trade down for more picks, not necessarily in that order......Stay tuned. News at 11 :cool-smil

If it were to happen, I would think it could help us, but then again, Orakpo fell to 13 because people looked for other areas, Suh could see the same thing happen. |
