Yeah, Merrill Hodge was the stop gap. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Hoping that the Bears can avoid the usual MNF let down tonight!

Eh, I would have never heard of Hodge if he wasn't on ESPN. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Merrill Hoge was an excellent contributor to the '70's Steelers. They were a muscle team and he was their muscle skill player on offense.
Go Bears! |
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Hoge didn't play in the 70's

Go Bears![/quote] Lol, when the Steelers were winning Super Bowls in the 70's Hodge was around 10 years old. I think you're remembering Franco Harris. Anyway, how many prime time games are they going to show from New Meadowlands stadium? Seriously the first 5 weeks of the season have a prime time game in New York (New Jersey for the more petty among us). Tonight we are all Bears fans. |

I remembered Harris and Hoge in the same backfield. My bad. |

Eh, no big deal, all white people look the same :D |
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
A big time defensive game going on in the NYG/Bears game.

So nice to watch football and not have to pace around with my heart beating out of chest. Though I obviously want the Bears to win the sense of urgency isn't nearly as great. |
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Horrible int there by Cutler
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Could either of these offenses look crappier? God the Giants are a bad team right now.
|
Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
What an abortion the Bears and Cutler are right now too.
