SC let's be real now, he's a thug plain and simple. How many times has he been in trouble for D.V? Almost every year we hear the same story on Marshall. Yeah he said he would get help a while back but obviously he didn't.

Longtimefan:

Amen and AMEN!! to that.

Young athletes today seem not to have the ability to learn from recent history and seem - therefore - destined to repeat it.

Self control/Self discipline went out of fashion when it became critically important to try to have every kid in elementary school to have a high self-esteem. Think about that for a minute ... That is about as absurd as trying to have every kid in every elementary school to be "above average"...

I think that crazy women, and clubs are the #1 killer of NFL players. Just like the song said, "you can't trust a big butt and a smile".

According to this column, there is "talk" that the Miami Dolphins are considering cutting their ties with Brandon Marshall.

Obviously, Cincy would be a natural place for him to go and be with other miscreants.

Talented as he clearly is, the Redskins ought to stay far away from him...

Marshall's situation may never have reached this point had his prior indescretions been effectively dealt with. His is the typical end result of when they're swept under the rug, adding fuel to the potential for future incidents.

From the very first episode of domestic violence, a stern message should be sent to the offender......this type of behavior will under no circumstances be tolerated.

what the hell is wrong with this guy? he just can't keep away from trouble. especially when it comes to women. it's pretty obvious that he's got issues when it comes to domestic violence. you know it had to be pretty bad if his wife stabs him and he needs surgery.

I was one of them. NFL locker rooms are not full of boy scouts. But this guy really has some serious issues. There are two sides of every story but you have to wonder why his wife stabbed him.

This guy's off-the-field troubles actually keep him off the field though, so this is when a player's personal life DOES hurt the team. This is not his first major off-the-field injury brought on by his own stupidity.

^^ Through forty five years of marriage I have never thought about resorting to physical violence to solve any of the problems we may have had. My wife would have my ass locked-up if I even thought about striking her.

The first time this guy struck his wife she should have done the same thing, maybe he wouldn't continue to be a repeat offender.
