You don't want to run your starters into the ground prior to the season starting. As of right now Torrain and Williams are starters and the other three need to prove themselves.

Torain and Williams are carry-overs. I'm not so sure the Shanahans are confident in Torain and/or Williams as they are with Beck and Grossman (and that's not saying much). But, I see your point even with camp bodies Chad Simpson, Shawnbrey McNeal, James Davs, and Andre Brown,
