High of 75 here today. Avg is 44.
10 day forecast is 68 thru 73s Unreal...I can hear those glaciers melting. |
Re: Snow? 2012
It's almost 80 degrees down here, and I'm loving it. Wore shorts to work today.

Re: Snow? 2012
It's early March and there are gnats everywhere. This is going to be a brutal summer for being outside. Need some cold snaps to kill these bastard bugs!

I haven't been sick sick in around 15 years but I do get allergies and colds, and this winter was one of the worst for me. As warm as it was I felt like I was always stuffed up and congested. This spring might be brutal!

Re: Snow? 2012
I mean, 80 freaking degrees in DC in the second week of March? Bonkers.

Re: Snow? 2012
I have flies at my house already!
I'm not complaining though, it's gorgeous outside. I hate winter. |

It can work both ways. If they are out now and we have a cold snap it will kill them making it a better year for bugs or lack of bugs. |
Re: Snow? 2012
My snowboarding trip just got cancelled for this weekend due to end of season arriving sooner than expected in WV. Damn this unseasonably non-wintery winter. And boo for unrefundable motel deposits that make you pay full price in advance.

I worked for Marriott for ten years in various management roles. If yo dispute that charge with your credit card company I am 99% confident you will get it refunded. the reason being the hotel has to prove that they held that room for yo uall night and there was no other opportunity for them to rent it. Which is near impossible to prove. They are called GNS (guarantee no shows) and normally never hold water if disputed. |
Re: Snow? 2012
This has been a weird winter indeed. I am only 27 years old, I have lived in NoVA all my life, and I cannot remember once where it started getting this warm in late February - March. We had temperatures in the 70's in February here in Winchester, and just last weekend I mowed my lawn for the very first time this season. I have never remembered ever mowing grass in March.
And it wasn't just knocking down weeds either. Grass was grown up thick and green, and with the weather it could have just as easily passed for July or August if someone had taken a picture. Trees in my yard in full bloom, etc... very weird. |

The room is booked for tonight but it got charged to my card weeks ago. |

Once they have your money, they have it. No refunds, generally, when dealing with the discount sites. |

The sooner the better just do it nothing to lose. Let me know if it worked. Either play dumb or come up with a sad story. |
