Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction
RG3 said in a post-game interview that the headset in his helmet broke during the two minute drill and that he had to call some of the plays on his own. I would like to see us install some sort of hurry up offense at some poin in the future. It seems that alot of defenses are having trouble defending it and I think he could definitely run it well.
Yeah last two games have been bad. Next week is a huge game for us, I actually see us playing them to the wire
Next week, Skins win a shoot out and hand Atlanta their 1st loss of the year. RGIII will have a great game, skins will stop the falcons running forcing them to challenge the secondary, the same can be said for them. |
Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction
shout out to reed doughty for stepping in at safety this week. i thought he did a good job

5.4 ypc against them. Thats big time against a run d who last week shut down Cowboy's Murry on the road. |
Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction
Remember a couple years ago if we had a play over 20 yards, that was a big deal.

The overprotective Mom part of me worries that Morris will be slowing down soon. This game was essentially week 7 for him as he has had 10 or more touches in every game except week 4 of the preseason against Tampa where he didn't play. Still it's amazing what he's been able to do. On pace right now for 1,500 yards rushing. |
Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction
Morris is the real deal. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite guys to watch.

Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction
RGIII is what makes the running game for the skins go, defenses don't know if he'll run, pitch it or hand it off.

Oh God, I forgot, I'm going to be hearing trash talk all week. Lucky for us the Falcons suck on the road, unlucky for us they seem to have gotten over that. |
Watching Morris in the preseason I thought he'd be Ryan Torain all over again. I was wrong. He's actually been really awesome. I still think Royster is better but he's not healthy right now.

Royster looked like he was at half speed today. He looked terrible on the first half screen play, ran with no authority and slow. He had no business being in the game, Grant needs to get reps this week. |
Kerrigan is so good this year. Beast.
I'm glad some people realize this. |
