YEAH...Peter King is SENILE. Don't buy into his rhetoric.

If our O-Line does a better job this year and Ramsey's comfortable we should be fine with these receivers.
OK, you guys know how Peter King is always talkin about his daughters in his columns and how they're always playing softball and crap? Well we have to make it our collective mission here at the Warpath for some of us, one of us, any of us; to find out where Mary Beth King goes to college, pay a visit, get her loaded, hook up with her, and then write in to Peter telling him all about our tale of conquest.
If I can see a picture of her first...then I'll take one for the team. Get me drunk enough, I'll do it. Even if she's half of Peter Kings weight.

Maybe I can get her loaded enough to make her get a Redskins tatoo. :party-smi

Peter King makes no sense. On one side of his neck he is advocating that every team mimic the Patriots and their team first attitude and salary structure, yet out of the other side he lambasts us for picking up a wideout who's been part of that team structure and for trading a malcontent?

I love it, instead of having two front line guys who underperformed let's go with a bunch of guys who will give great effort. Let's not forget, Jacobs is entering his third year and that is normally the year that wideouts tend to emerge. On paper (and on our cap) we will be taking a huge blow, but I see this move as a positive because we get a bona fide playmaker, and get rid of a potential malcontent. I don't see any superstars on the Patriots, or a #1 receiver yet they seem to have a lot of success throwing the ball up there. I think our wideouts and team will be better by avoiding having a potential locker room cancer.

Instead of Washington Jets, perhaps Washington Canes is becoming more apropos. Any chance of us getting Antrel Rolle?
LOL how about Jason Ferguson?! Dude's been in the league for 8 years now and hasn't made the Pro Bowl, his season high for tackles is 52, his season high for sacks is 4.5, yet somehow King thinks:

Really Peter, why?

How about this quote, tell me we don't get blasted for being the same way, yet somehow he's praising Dallas for it

LOL, whatever
Great job with that Matty, although he forgot to mention Bledsoe's problem in new england and his exile to buffalo was Patten, if he had a better #4 reciever he would be winning super bowls and not Brady, he hasen't figured out that Bledsoe is an overated, overhyped, MEATHEAD! Dead from the neck up.

LOL - Well, just so you know, she's a freshman at Colgate and is on the Equestrian team.

From his February 21st column -

"Colgate Equestrian Note of the Week: Big moment Saturday. My first horse show of all time. The Zone II Region 3 Intercollegiate Horse Show at Skidmore College hard by the famed racecourse in Saratoga Springs (summer home of Bill Parcells and Texans owner Bob McNair), with 11 upstate New York colleges -- Colgate, Hamilton, Siena, Skidmore, etc. -- competing. Colgate frosh Mary Beth King's first horse show of all time."

I think what Redskins_P would like to know is does she ride Side Saddle or Bareback?

Smootsmack, I don't know about Mary Beth, but Redskins_P prefers going bareback...if you catch my drift.

Schneed you driving? Smootsmack, you get the booze.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe P. King lives in Montclair N.J.? Which is about a half hour from where I live, I also use to race horses back in the day, so I just may be the man for the job.

here's what will do, I will disguise myself as a horse and infiltrate Colgate, I could be here first horse of all time. :headbange

Re: MMQ: King Criticizes 'Skins' Offseason Moves
From Peter King's MMQ:

Didn't like: Washington, even with a smart guy like Joe Gibbs running the show, still seems like a team lurching from one cap mess to the next. Other than Peyton Manning, no NFL player will make as much cash in 2004. Two years ago, Laveranues Coles was the cat's meow. Now he's just another $9.3 million cap mess to clean up. I noticed the Redskins seemed to be congratulating themselves on having Santana Moss and David Patten starting at receiver in 2005. Why? Moss was a perennial disappointment with the Jets; how will 'Skins fans react the first time he runs out of bounds away from contact instead of trying to make four more yards? Patten was the fourth receiver on a Patriots' team with no receiving star. Lord help Patrick Ramsey.

Is he right? I think he makes some good points and am sorry to say that I think he is correct. Fortunately, we have the draft to address the WR corps.
This fool thinks Art Monk should not be in the hall of fame. That should tell you some about Peter King. He's a stat freak.
