Breaking Burgundy's Ben Standig reports the Redskins have shown interest in impending free agent [B]Kenny Britt[/B].

CSN Mid-Atlantic's JP Finlay is also hearing the same. Britt is coming off a career season, posting a 68-1,002-5 line as one of the only bright spots for a 4-12 Rams team. It was Britt's first 1,000-yard season of his eight-year career, and he'd reportedly be interested in the Redskins if Kirk Cousins is brought back. DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon are also free agents in Washington. Britt is from New Jersey and would likely be very interested in a return to the East Coast.

I agree with you, I think Doctson size was appealing for that same reason.

Adding britt means Djax is definitely gone and I believe he's already gone any way. He's probably going back to Philly which makes no sense to me but hey whatever. Britt isn't a deep threat but he's a good WR.

They cannot "show interest" in Britt until free agency starts. Also, he has had off the field issues.

Junior Galette said today he intends to sign a one year contract with the Redskins. And says he is healthy.

It makes perfect sense to me. D.Jax knows we won't pay him, Philly will, they need him, they have a young promising qb, he knows the HC from his previous time in Philly, and he's probably still got a lot of friends on the team. I think it's practically a done deal barring an outrageous offer from some other club.

If Galette signs with us and is able to perform nearly as well as he has in the past, that would be a boost for our defense.

I can't even imagine the physical and emotional pain he has gone through during the past two years. I wish him well.

2 years removed from playing a down, I don't know what to expect any more. If we got anything out of him it would just be a bonus at this point.

Djax is so good here because of the weapons around him. Philly has no wrs that scare u

I googled Kenny Britt and 3 of the top results were about the Skins interest in him. If these rumors actually came from somebody in the Skins organization, this could amount to tampering...

true it is tampering, however it is probably a negotiating ploy to get Garcon at a better price.... or a shorter contract
