This following Scot's board thing is so overrated, it's not as if he put it together by himself, and besides a board is always fluid leading right up to the draft. It's likely there were plenty of changes long after Scot was out of the picture.

Bruce is Dan's bitch. He's obviously gained the owner's trust so it is what it is. He probably shines Dan's shoes and gets him coffee every morning. And because Snyder refuses to talk anymore he needs Allen. I assume he also needs him to do a stadium deal. I really don't think Allen wants to be involved in player evaluation. He and Snyder are probably done in that area as well they should be.That now falls on Williams, Gruden, Campbell, Smith and the scouts. I'm not sure there's anything in Williams past that suggest he's a stud in picking players. But he has a good team around him. We'll just see how it pans out. It's early but can anyone really complain about our draft and free agent moves? I think we've had a very good offseason.

We got Jonathan Allen at 17! Good job front office.

I'm just curious to know if there is a team out there where the top executive vehemently opposes the owner in every way possible.

Not that I am dismissing the flaws of both Snyder and Allen, I just find statements like this amusing.

Why do you find it ammusing? Yes men have no balls and that's exactly what Allen is. That's why I liked Scot so much. It wasn't that he made the perfect moves cause he didn't. But he wanted to do things his way and bring his kind of culture to the team. It rubbed Allen the wrong way so he got fired. Allen's obviously more comfortable with Williams so we will see. Doug has been around football for a real long time so I'm on board with this

And btw, I did say we've had a nice off season so I'm not saying this can't work. The Redskins do have very capable people under Bruce and Doug.

That was a no brainer, a top 5 talent being passed, you jump on it. We were lucky he was still there, if we would have passed on him it would have been very stupid.

I was being sarcastic. But 16 other teams did pass on him.
