Re: Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins
Trent prolly won't even play. Such a fucking clown at this point.

Re: Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins
Callahan announced in today's press conference that Trent did not pass his physical. He said the helmet didn't fit right and caused discomfort around the spot on his head.
Cue laughter at Bruce Allen. |

Non football related injury?
I figured he would step onto the field and pull a hammy 2 seconds in to avoid the NFI. Idk, I know nothing about the process at this point. |

Not sure how much TW can appeal it if the medical staff he hates says he can't play due to the injury TW accuses them of misdiagnosing.. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |
Re: Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins
Would not be surprised to see TW suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. This would probably prevent his contract from tolling and give the Skins a reason to continue not paying him. Plus, it would be an opportunity for Bruce Allen to make the situation even worse than it already is.

Did he really have to say his helmet didn't fit right? just a dumpster fire, circus statement... How in god name does Bruce Allen hold a job with this org and President at that? Flipping amazing. |
Re: Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins
I can't believe how complicated this shitshow has become. We could have had the Browns first rounder at a minimum and Trent could be gone, and we'd all be happy. Instead we got a great player with a shitty attitude, a shitty executive with a shitty "win at all costs" attitude, and we're probably looking at selling on the cheap this offseason. Thanks a lot asshats.

I haven't seen where we could have had the Browns first rounder. In fact, I've read that the Browns refused to trade their first rounder. |

I believe the Browns were only offering their 2nd rounder for Trent. |

Yeah it was the Browns' 2nd. And earlier in the season the Pats' 1st by JP Finflay and Kevin Sheehan. Now TW is clearly middle fingering the FO, using the medical issue he hates them for as an excuse to not play for this team. I can understand hating on TW because of all the drama, but I'm more mad at the FO for the way they mishandled it. |

He’s as much as fault as the FO, he basically shit on the fans who support him getting a paycheck. Helmet discomfort bullshit, ask him if putting a rubber on his little head hurts. |

The pissing match between both sides has been ridiculous. Also, everyone knows Trent doesn't plan to play even now that he has reported (JP reported this), so the "helmet discomfort" is more on him than the team IMO. |
Re: Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins
Showing but refusing to practice or play is the same as not showing, and I think the team would be justified at this point in figuring out whether they can make sure that the contract period tolls so he doesn't get credit for the year. I have always loved him as a player, but I have no respect for this -- you show up to be part of the team, then put the team first. Seriously, it's really bad form by Trent.
