Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Regardless of Douche Snyder and the pr stunt timing I am happy for ST and his family. Still hard to believe how much of an impact he made in such a short time. Dude was on a collision course with opposing players and the HOF. My imagination probably doesn’t do justice to what would have been.
Played for my alma mater, and us. Probably my favorite player of all time. What an absolute physical specimen and assassin he was. So smart on the field. Good dude. It was a pleasure to watch that man play football.
Absolutely! We just ordered some new #21 Salute to Service jerseys last week to sport at the Broncos game on Halloween! It was exciting to see him play, and I am glad I had the opportunity to do so. He was a machine. He had overcome so much, and was on a new collision course with being a family man, and just a remade human being. For me, that just put another layer on the tragedy of that day. I'll not forget when my wife told me he was shot in the leg. I immediately got goose bumps, and thought he must have got himself into trouble some how. I didn't learn until later that he had passed, and that it had nothing to do with him getting "into trouble". Couldn't believe it, I mean he was just shot in the leg (was what I was thinking at the time). Sucks. Would have loved to see him continue to grow as a player, a man, a father. But yeah, he deserves (and Redskins fans deserve) more than three days notice. Total BS. |

100% agree

Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
I think this season is straining allegiance to the breaking point. Like others said, I feel more camraderie with you all in the Warpath than the team itself.

Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Julie Donaldson gave a good interview on the Reese waters show.
- this has been planned for a while, Taylor family knew and made plans - they asked the family if they wanted to postpone and the family said no - halftime ceremony and will be streamed - they all feel horrible about how this was handled I trust jason wright and Julie Donaldson |

This franchise is run by the Snyders. If you trust that, good for you. This was totally a move to try to distract from all the other shit. SMFH |
Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Julie Donaldson comes of just like Larry Michael's just not as sleazy. Wright has a little credibility but this is a HUGE knock on him.

Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
I guess we can call this the first major fuck up of the current front office structure as far as off the field stuff goes.
Wright's apology is certainly appreciated, when was the last time we got an apology about anything from this team? Still, given what we've dealt with the last 20+ years the apology rings a little hollow. |

Way. You do not plan this and give the fan base little time to plan. You heard damage control. |

It rings extremely hollow. |
Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
At this point it’s just embarrassing to support this franchise. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
It’s never about football with this team |

Solid choice. I have to fly down to Miami to support the team. Sorry babe, it's for the team. |
