At this point, it seems like no one except the coaches know when he will play.

It would seem he would be back to 100 percent by now. I don’t get it.

My move is make him a solid offer and then a franchise tag. I would actually entertain trade offers and keep him a year.

He had a patella tendon tear also, longer recovery.

Isn’t that what happened to Navarro Bowman former linebacker of the 49ers? I remember his injury was significant.

Chase himself pretty much ruled out this week in an interview. Asked if he was playing against the Giants and his reply was he is trusting the process. That sounds a lot more like no than yes

He is medically cleared. Just sucks

People in the know keep saying he is medically cleared, so there would be no risk to him re-injuring himself. Getting into game shape is a valid excuse but it sounds psychological to me, do you notice how he starts the week, immediately following the game, feeling great and by the time it gets to Saturday all of a sudden he is not so sure. I think he is psyching himself out. He needs to get into a game to get the feel of it again or the longer he stays out the worse the problem will get.

I think at this point things aren't going according to plan and it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't come back this year. If he was needed back sure but right now he is a luxury - and that's why the coaching staff isn't pushing it.
