False story!!! George Michaels just reported this and had a interview with Rodgers. NO STRESS FRACTURE, THIS IS A BOGUS STORY!!!

Sounds like the stress fracture was an old injury that's already healed/healing, and is separate from the ankle sprain/bone bruise he's currently recovering from.

Regardless, the prognosis is essentially the same: his participation in the early part of training camp is questionable, so this will slow his progress somewhat.

Hopefully this type of injury won't be as nagging as a brand new stress fracture. I feel much more relieved.
