I'm not a fan of Red Stripe, I think it tastes like someone spilled red wine into my bottle or something. Personally, I think the beer depends on the occasion. My favorites are Dos Equis, Corona, Bud Light, Sam Adams, Guiness, Amestel Light, Yuengling, or just about whatever you have in your fridge, unless it's Busch Light or keystone.

Beer is good.

Although Bud(weiser) is what you'll see in my hand a percentage of the time, Guiness is actually my beer of choice. Yuengling's Black & Tan is a close second. My wallet, however, prefers Natty Light.

I don't know what it is, but I cannot stomach Yuengling - that stuff makes me want to hurl. I can handle anything else.

Bass Pale Ale sucks in my opinion too...tastes like someone pissed in a can, added alot of water and let it brew in the sun for a couple of days.

I refused to drink that in college, I think that says something. Ask Bohnzie, he'll tell you, back then I would have drank glass clearner if I thought it'd get me drunk.

Man Law: If your sitting at a stadium (ex Fedex field) in the lower bowl close to the field at a playoff game (ex 1999 vs Bucs) and ask the person in front of you to sit down or be quiet you should immediately be moved to the top of the stadium and someone else should replace you.

p.s. Applies to any home team by any home team fan

Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread

MAN LAW: When leaving a crowded house to go buy beer or food, a man must make at least a minor effort to see if he can pick something up for the others in the house.

Important side note: If you want another man to pick something up for you, make the order simple and have money ready. Be prepared to tag along if you know there will be more beer than one man can carry alone. If you cannot do these things, either go with the original beer/food getter, or just keep your mouth shut. ALSO, if you do go along, do not ask to make any extra stops.

You know at first I actually detested it too. I don't what clicked or when.

Perhaps one day the bartender accidently served me the wrong beer while I was talking to a hot babe sitting next to me, and to avoid looking like a bitch and asking him for the beer of my preference I stomached that shit....the rest is history, I guess.

Man Law!

And "money ready" means at least a $20. No $1s or coins or other girly denominations. Oh, and don't expect any change back. If you don't tag along, anything that doesn't get spent goes toward more beer.

I disagree. If there is the possiblity of sex (with the hoe, not the bro) then I'm headin' for said hoe.

Nothing's quite as unmanly as staying with a bunch of guys playing poker when you could be bangin' a hoe.

I've got to agree with you here. Unless its a friend you haven't seen in awhile and they're leaving the next day or some shit, go for the hoe, the bros can wait a night. Just don't make a habit of it.

the woman will always be available later and if not we all have our late night booty calls that we dont tell our friends about cause she might not be all that but the booty is always willing.

urban dictionary defines it as

[I]Jack: Scott, its poker night, remember to pick up the beer.

Scott: Sorry I can't, Erica wants me to go shopping with her. She said we might go back to her house after we got done though, I'm hoping I will get in the box.

Jack: WTF, bros before hoes, I will see you at 8.

Even used my poker situation.

--------------------------------------------

Now this is situational but it most commonly refers to someone breaking plans with their friends to hang out with some girl and that doesn't fly. Now if sex is involved an ammendment can be made but here is a prime example of a violation of bros before hoes and the consequences http://www.goyk.com/video.asp?path=1774.

Agreed.

I say the bros can wait to, I gotta get my sex on. I vote for sex.

Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread

Ok, how about, bros before hoes always applies to preplanned Bro situations (ie, poker night, fight clubs, Redskins games, strip club trips, etc). A Bro cannot mock the man for trying to get a piece if there were no prearranged plans.

If the Hoe is a bitch or is sleeping around or chaulk-full of STD's, the Bros can alway step in.

Feel free to add on to this very important Man Law.

BigSKINBauer 06-14-2006 05:18 PM

Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread

In the possibility of sex the man will go with the "hoe" as the "bros" will be obligated to be understanding.

Ok, I can get on board with that.

I thought we were referring to random, unplanned events.

Is there an escape clause for planned events if the chick is unusually hot?

Agreed, this definately does not include unplanned events. A 'bro' is not allowed to make fun of or force another man to participate in an unplanned event while a man is with his girl.

I'd say there absolutely has to be.

We can call it the Christy Clause, named after Chris Cooley's unbelievably hot girlfriend. If a girl like that comes along, all bets are off.

BigSKINBauer 06-14-2006 05:26 PM

I can go along with an escape clause but it must be very specific. This clause can cause complications so it must be detailed. Man law should be man law and that is it so there should be no wiggle room or room for arguement.

There needs to be something that is the opposite of the Christy Clause, like if the bros want the guy to tag along for something realy awesome.

How about The Sideline Situation because I don't care if I'm with Jessica Alba, if my buddies get sideline passes to a Skins game they better club me over the head and drag me if I try to resist.

BigSKINBauer 06-14-2006 05:30 PM

Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread

I have always taken this law as one in which a friend stops hanging out with his friends to be and the call of his girl. When someone continually breaks plans with friends because he is doing something with some girl. That is bros before hoes. THat has to be stopped before it gets out of hand.
