The best birthday present for Brunnel will be to end his suffering and put in Campbell..

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Maybe that's the reason why we don't throw it twenty yards or more. Another scoring opportunity wasted.

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Great throw Mark...he's one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL at this point in his career.

MightyJoeGibbs 09-17-2006 10:39 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

You guys think our o-line is the culprit for Mark's anxiousness?, I havent seen any dominance in the run game or containment in passing, there is always at least one guy prohibiting these passes from developing.

MTK 09-17-2006 10:39 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Well, we finally took a shot but that's not the kind of shot we needed. You can't just throw it up for grabs

Teams know we cannot stop a slant if our games depended on it.

we really are a second tear team. we cant do anything right

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

This drive has to be stopped now, no more man. We can't wait till the 4th qtr to try our passing game.

MTK 09-17-2006 10:43 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

The offense is a mess, and the D is sloppy as all hell.

We really stink right now

the first half maybe... the line has been giving him a little more time in the third quarter, but he's not even hitting the slants. when the cowboys are blitzing, he's not really hanging in there either.

and where is our defensive pressure on bledsoe? he had all day to throw that screen! This isn't the viking's O-line... this is suppose to be a weak link for the cowboys...

charlielyons 09-17-2006 10:45 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

i really think we can start looking toward campbell or at least collins, there is no way we can win in our division with mb

MightyJoeGibbs 09-17-2006 10:45 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Be prepared for Dallas to run( waste the clock) they are in FG posistion now as is. They need to start playing football, is there a gameplan for that.

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

I NEVER thought when the season started that we'd be this bad...how did wright start for the Jags, what was their passing D ranked?

LMsexyAO 09-17-2006 10:46 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

the sloppy penalities, the horrible play calling, that whole debacle and the end of the second half.. this really stinks of bad coaching

oh noes

Longtimefan 09-17-2006 10:46 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Why on earth are we in a three man rush with six DB's? we're not getting any pressure with a four man rush, twenty three yards on third and three is pitiful.

itvnetop 09-17-2006 10:47 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

the D had been playing a bend, don't break all game... the offense hasn't given them much help tonight. there goes glenn.

LMsexyAO 09-17-2006 10:47 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Look what a half decent quarterback can do for you

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Nice coverage on the deep ball. Too bad Brunell doesn't know how to throw those...

Start Jason Campbell!!!!!

i've been holding back on criticizing brunell... we'll have to see if the floodgates open another week or so. if he can't get it done against the texans- it's time to switch.

MightyJoeGibbs 09-17-2006 10:49 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Time to take the field. If Al calls a pass play maybe he has figured out we are now losing.

Gibbdom 09-17-2006 10:49 PM

Re: 9/17/06: Redskins (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Mark Brunnell stinks. This team wont go anywhere because of him and him alone. If we had a quaterback who was just average, this team could do something. Instead we have one that stinks.

Our secondary is just horrible outside of Sean. Wright, and Rumpf aren't even second string worthy. Carlos is barely a good enough Second CB in this league. The Redskins are really feeling the sting of letting Lavar Leave. Warrick Holdman is absolutely invisible. He is NOTHING.

Where oh where is the pass rush. Almost no blitzs on a QB who is notoriosly terrible at evading it. Great Game planning.

Great this game is over, because Brunnel has NO chance of doing anything ever in his life again. Nice job Secondary just what we needed.

I swear...they way they're playing, its like someone brainwashed them into thinking they're winning when they're actually losing...no fire, no life...for a moment I thought I saw Norv standing on the sideline instead of Gibbs
