Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
First time this season where Cooley, Lloyd, and Randle El all caught passes on the same drive. Touchdown.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Brunell is spreading the ball around. 5/5 all 5 completions to different recievers. That's the mark of a proficient offense.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Also, Carr is 4/5, and outside of the one big pass we havent been hurt.

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
damn flags! x2

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
I don't know if anyone is listening to the radio broadcast, but I find it pretty funny that Sonny and the crew are mocking the Texans for not being able to get a decent play off. We get up by a measly 7 points and get all cocky...

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Was that Montgomery's first NFL tackle?
I like this DT rotation we have. |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Is that 5 Flags already?
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Another 3rd down.
We're doing much, much better on 3rd downs today on both sides of the ball. |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Marcus!

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
This is a serious question, not reteorical. At this moment in time (post TD), who would be happier if Campbell was playing?
I would. |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Good Hit on Sellers
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Go back to Cooley
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
The Texans are going to start camping in the flat soon. I hope we come up with another play.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Drive failed, but Brunell is 8/8.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)

|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
brunell rushing the throw again
Did he get blitzed? Jurgensen says Portis SHOULD have had the first.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
he had a lot more time to throw
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
he had a lot more time to throw
OK, but why go through the rest of the progression against a blitz if your first read can get the first down. Get rid of the ball quickly, I say.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
i don't believe in throwing short of the first down
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Defense Shut Somebody Down!!!!!!!!!!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
i don't believe in throwing short of the first down
Good point, but I guarentee you Mark Brunell didnt call the play.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
We need to look a lot better than we are looking now!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Scobee just missed a 24 yard FG to take the lead in Indy.

|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Looks like they won't even pick Clinton up by his arm. Looks like they are grabbing his shoulder pads to help him up.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Rabach...and Who Ever It Is Always Doing Illegal Crap On Defense...........need To Be Fired Lol
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
I like the playcalling here so far. I really hope they go for the first down here instead of running it.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Looks like the game plan is to protect Brunell from any critics this week by having him throw all those short passes. He hasn't thrown the ball ten yards today.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Wow, brilliant.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Down The Field Brunell Down The Field...moss Is Open!!!!!!!!! I See It...
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
If we score this drive is going to be like 200 yards with all the flags
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Looks like the game plan is to protect Brunell from any critics this week by having him throw all those short passes. He hasn't thrown the ball ten yards today.
Duh. It's working. I don't know why everyone is so disappointed. Our WRs are big YAC guys anyway.

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)

|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
i don't like the cooley screens he's not quick enough
Then you must have forgotten Cooley running over defenders last season. |
