Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
Marty isn't that bad of a coach to be compared with, Gibbs could stand on the side line lokking for his brain all game like Art Shell.
|
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
lol
Now ARt shell theres a man who the game has REALLY passed by.... |
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
Yeah, it passed him by, but he still can't find his brain. Have you seen it?
|
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
I think R. Moss sold it for the right to be on highlight reels without actually doing
anything.... |
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
I don't think he sold it, he smoked it.
|
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
I'm not sure the game has passed art shell by. i really believe if AL Davis gives shell a couple of seasons to fix up the mess that shell inherited, the raiders will improve

Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
FYI the offensive coordinator in oakland has been away from the game about 10 years.

Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
I don't like this game plan. It looks like Marty ball again. I know, we are not getting blown out, and our defense is playing well. I still think we need to be proactive on offense and play to win.

You can thank Al Saunders for getting cute with his play calling. The best thing we CAN be doing is going back to Joe Gibbs offense. |
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
Yeah, but no more short passes or runs on third and long.
|
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
I agree...F*ck saunders
|
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
If "conservative" is your opening statement, at least spell it correctly.
I wish that Gibbs starts could claim to have the same success as Marty in his second go around. |

Read the post article before you make stupid comments on Saunders. |
i still think that the skins will win 11 games, not that anyone cares
So you are predicting 2 playoff wins? |
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
Marty will never be able to claim what Joe Gibbs has. Look at the Steelers, they won the super bowl last year and they suck. Look at Tampa Bay. It took Joe one year to get to the playoffs. Yeah we fell apart this year, but it happens to many teams. Marty is the king of playing not to lose. All the truly great coaches play to win, period.
Yeah, but no more short passes or runs on third and long.
If it gets us the 1st down and continues a ball controlled drive, then I'm all for it. Fans want to see bombs away and while I can't blame them for wanting to be entertained, I'd rather win anyway I can get it...win ugly...I don't are, just win! |
Re: Joe Gibbs becoming like Mary Schottemhiemer
First, Chris you did not own up to calling him Mary.
Regardless of our record, I'm very excited about what I'm seeing from JC and the OL. Yeah! We have to make some changes. Perfection is a pursuit, so keep on truckin' and quit baggin' on your kin. Hail 44 |

I would be the happiest guy in town if you are correct. Seems a little crazy right now. |
