Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
The biggest problem this week is that we don't pressur the ball (obvious)
We don't stop the pass (obvious) Peyton Manning is the best of all time at identifying the blitz and adjusting on the fly (obvious) And we have injuries across the board (obvious) If there aren't dramatic changes, we will be down 28-0 by halftime, and only a moron would keep running the ball then. Our best chance is winning the coin toss and scoring on an 8-minute drive where we run it down their throats. I would actually like to see the first play of the game be a bomb down the sideline to Brandon Lloyd, then 20 consectutive run and screen plays. God help us As long as Snyder holds the power, no Superbowls for our Redskins |

So I gotta ask why bother being a fan? I mean if you already know that there is no hope then why waste your time? |

you gotta have Faith man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
It won't be easy but I still have faith. Any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday (or Monday, or the occasional Saturday, and perhaps Thursday).
What really matters is if Springs can play and be effective.
Springs can only cover Marvin or Wayne assuming he is healthy. If we are counting on our corners to make plays all day we are done. We need big time pressure from the D-line to have any chance. (A Taylor fumble recovery for a T.D. would be nice too...) Indy is a fast track. The last time I checked, we have some speed. Who's checking Santana? |

Titans just did to us what we need to the Colts.:towel:

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
I'm a fan because I love the Redskins. Just because they lose, doesn't make me like them less. I think I have more faith in them this week than they do. They are so scared right now of peyton manning, it's rediculous. Gibbs and Williams have no idea what to do, however, it all comes down to the PLAYERS really wanting it. If Peyton happens to lead an early scoring drive, it is up to the PLAYERS to make things happen, not ME. My realistic attitude does not undermine my status as a fan. If I see a good effort from our players this week, I'll be happy, that is all.
