WOW! what a bunch of wankers. Those mods most definately have xtra small penis syndrome. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on a fan site. And at first I almost felt bad for the members, but then I was like hell no! They are kissing so much ass, they get what they deserve. Anyone have luck getting on over there from here?

The ultimate prank to play on them would be to pose as an official from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or even the NFL and post a "formal" letter notifying them:

This is an official notice that this forum will e shut down at the end of the week due to the poor leadership of the moderators who have been chosen to guide it."

So someone got warned for contributing to a discussion on Mike Nolan by saying he had the team headed in the right direction because they had accumalted a bunch of draft picks. They warned him because that should have been in the draft forum. WTF??????????????????

Actually, I have an account over there under my "JoeRedskin" name - got it back when we played them opening day a couple of years ago. Actually had good conversations with a couple of the guys. But, wow, has it changed.

Sorry, I am somewhat creatively challenged - but if there is anyone who wants to use my account to cause the havoc - feel free. I would just get banned in one post.

I really did try to be somewhat respectful (okay, a little poetic license - I don't know of any other boards currently mocking them, although I have no doubt it is occurring).

The resulting diatribe from some of there members is truly amazing.

You guys are literally being mocked across the internet. Please understand, what started off as "boy look at these jerks" on a board or two has turned into a cottage industry of jokes about the mods and members of this board.

I post this because, in the past, I had some good experiences on this board and remembered the board as having some intelligent posters who could still poke fun back and forth. I truly enjoyed my time here. After lurking for a few days, however, I have seen a board that has changed considerably. It has devolved upon itself and is now one in which the "stockholm syndrome" seems to have taken affect. The amazing thing to many boards is that members bother to return to a board where open discussion and reasonable questioning of mods' methods results in swift and lengthy suspensions or outright bannings.

Sure, it's important to run a tight ship, but it's also the internet. Several boards have good, quality discussions where people only get banned/suspended once in a blue moon. On other boards, people are actually encouraged to respectfully question and discuss the mods' actions. When posts get hijacked (as occasionally occurs everywhere on the internet), the mods dilegently clean the posts, ask the hijackers to cease and desist, and/or simply move the thread.

And, please, don't get all high and mighty and proclaim the brilliance of this board as opposed to others because you "run a tight ship" here. You still have some good solid posters but this is not the font of knowledge and shining light of internet football boards. There are just too many quality boards that exist without the use of totalitarian mods. Sure, boards with inane, spamming posters exist and the non-existent mods let the inmates run the prison. This board, however, has become the opposite end of the spectrum.

It's your board and your rules. I imagine that I will be banned for posting a thread that "criticizes" the mods of this board without first sending a PM to a mod. My response is that I am not criticizing but merely reporting to you the enjoyment you are giving others based on the conduct of both your mods and members. Further, it is my hope that reasonable discussion may yet ensue.
